Very nicely presented😍... I thought to visit udupi and mangalore in mid August with family, will it rain there heavily ? Any suggestions?

July - August is usually peak monsoon around Udupi - Mangaluru region. So, it'll be very damp everywhere. But, the weather will definitely be very pleasant and cool so you'll miss the usual unbearable heat of Udupi. For places I'd suggest Waterfalls around Aagumbe which is under an hour's drive around Udupi. Falls like Jogi Gundi, barkana and kudlu theertha should be flowing potently during those months. You can also visit krishna Matha and Neelavara temple. For beaches I'd suggest malpe and the sea walk of malpe. If you want a less crowded beach, you should definitely visit Kodi Bengre beach/delta point. Another popular beach an hour away from Udupi is the Maravanthe Beach. Planning to visit Udupi at this time with friends...is it suitable to tour by this month end from June 29. Any suggestions?

By end of this month, Udupi will be in monsoon. So the weather will be pleasant and obviously wet, but you'll definitely be grateful to miss the scorching heat of Udupi. Also there is a high chance of all the waterfalls flowing potently. Since you're visiting with friends, I'd suggest visit Kudlu Theertha, jogi gundi and barkana falls. All three are around Aagumbe, so under an hour drive around udupi. For temples I'd suggest Krishna Matha and Neelavara. For beaches you can visit malpe and check out the malpe seawalk for sunset. If you want a far less crowded beach, you should definitely visit Kodi Bengre beach for either sunrise of sunset.
