UE Boom 2 Review: UE... We Need To Have A Talk

you have to change the equalizer to make the bass go up (I have this speaker) I listen to bass heavy music like hip hop and rap that is it and it sounds really damn good. My friend has a wonderboom and I can definitely disagree and say that the ue boom 2 is worth more than the wonderboom for a couple of different reasons. - Better bass once equalized -MUCH LOUDER - Better sound quality in general -And is more portable I think than the wonderboom

Their meaning of boom doesn't have to mean bass. This speaker is wonderful and a must buy.

you should try the Braven Balance, I picked it up from Walmart about a week ago for $70 and it's my go to speaker now. Ipx7 waterproof, enhanced mode if you want more boom, and it can also charge a phone because it has an internal charger. Only drawback is they only had a neon yellow where I was and im not much of fan of it, but still worth keeping.

Something interesting to have in mind: Wonderboom only pair with another wonderboom and does not sound stereo (L+R). This one can pair up to 50 more and 2 speakers makes stereo. You can control everything from the app. It means you get up in the morning and you don't have to leave the bed to push the button wherever its placed, you just switch it on from the phone as you're sending the music from it too. These are some of the features that makes it more expensive. I have a lot of speakers and I don't think this one has the best sound but overall is one of the best by sound+features. I think it's not punchy but it has bass. I mean, there is bass, is not like the typical cheap one. For bass and good price I'd go for Anker soundcore boost

i agree with your review. Stopped by BB today and heard it and yeah, I'd be let down for the price and the weak bass. UE Megaboom is decent but Boom 2? If your looking for bass it's a pass for me too. Great on point review!
