Like you said, if YOU yourself choose to go into a place like this or any dangerous place, it's YOUR OWN fault. This is one of my favorites of yours. I actually live in Saint Louis Missouri and the City Museum is an absolute MASTERPIECE and they continously are adding to make the place more unique and in memory of its creator!

Interesting. The opposite of most UE. Instead of wondering what it once was, we wonder what it could have been.

I'm with you, you set foot on to a property like that, anything that happens is on you. I also HATE when I see places get stripped for copper, plywood on windows and doors usually fallow that :c just happened to a place I wanted to see.

City Museum is one of the coolest places that I have ever visited. We LOVE going there. I can only imagine how awesome this place would have been if he could have completed it. Many comments are wondering what type of amusement park is like this, well you would just have to know City Museum.

if some one gets hurt, its there own fault. coming from a old school explorer. we went to some dangerous spots but we had rope, grappling hooks, various breathing EQ, always have teams spread out at least 5-10 feet apart with one person outside with 2 way communication gear. actualy you kids are lucky with modern day technology. everything is more powerful and 5 times smaller then my time.

This looks like an awesome place to explore but I can't imagine it as a theme park, are there plans anywhere of what it would have looked like had it been finished? I agree with you on the whole suing subject, if you're in an abandoned place then you're responsible for yourself, I can't believe people get hurt doing this and successfully sue, then again I'm in England where we're not quite as litigious as our American cousins yet!

ShadyChris Not really lost but it's often hard to find exits. One location I entered through a piece of ventilation on the roof and then climbed on the rafters until I found a place to jump down without breaking my ankles. I got down and realized every single window and door was alarmed and I was essentially stuck in there. Every way out involved tripping the alarm

There is an abandoned cement factory in southern Ohio near the Ohio river. I don't want to give anyone any ideas by saying the name of the city, not hard to find out, but anyways it looks alot like this place. I thought it was at first. I went there quite few times when I was younger and braver. Haven't been there in probably 11 years but I imagine its quite dangerous now as it was very dangerous then. Not to mention its hard not to get caught now and there's probably some scary bums in there. It was amazing though. I loved going there.

About the lawsuit, I'm not certain in all cases. I am sure that they will litigate a case like that based upon proper use of signs, access to entry among other considerations. I am more concerned that there are no laws requiring places like this to be gutted for assets and demolished for safety, conservation of land, and aesthetic concerns. Aesthetics can ruin property value of nearby areas as well, leading to more run down areas.

Are tetanus shots and butterfly closures complimentary with your paid admission to Cement Land? I've dreamed of all this urbex stuff. Not much exists here in Milwaukee anymore. All the incredible old tanneries and brewery's that still stand have been converted to condos and the like. Aside from foreclosed houses in shitty neighborhoods, nothing like this exists up here anymore. I'm super jealous of the "playgrounds" you have in St Louis....
