I'm a major fan of the UE speaker line, actually bought a megaboom when they were new at $275!! I love it to death. For this unit of a speaker and the sound it produces, I really think $399 is reasonable.

Plus I have UE 3 megabooms 2 and am extremely happy with them. I definitely like the look! Imo I think it looks better than JBl boombox. ♥️

Supra Sport I have a a gaming setup and I use it as my speaker but normally I have always had The best UE Speaker which was the mega blast and I really like it but I bought when it first game out and after a while the bass kinda blew and sucked. So as months went on I seen the HYPERBOOM and it was a must have for me. The bass on it it’s incredible and so is the battery life the only issue I have with it is how heavy it is and how hard it is to take it places so it is expensive but I work in a factory so we’re allowed to bring speakers but this speaker I a bit much it’s perfect for us to play music as loud as we want but it sucks when I have to carrying it around. Then putting it it’s not dust proof since I work with wood and there is a lot of dirt and dust around so I kind of fear of that it’s not as durable as my other speakers but it’s great for a home speaker I use it a lot I would recommend it but maybe not worth 425 dollars with the tax and everything that I paid for it I bought it at my Best Buy

I just want a complete sound in one Bluetooth speaker that I could hook up to the Xbox, my phone and be able to carry it from the living room to bedrooms. Factory! Nice! Your a mans man! Can you connect the Hyperboom to a tv using the optical cable and then connect 2 megaboom 3s to the Hyperboom and use it as kind of like a surround sound for the tv?

I’ve been using this one for a week in my home gym. Put it in the corner and that bass rumbles. Even outside it sounds great best of all unlike other bigger speakers it’s rugged. Now has anyone heard B&O biolet 17? Kinda curious how that sounds

I tried it with 2 Megabooms (1) & 9 Booms 2. It works. But they hyperboom as a noticeable lattency. It makes an echo with the other one & it isn’t fun. The sound quality is great! It gives the feel that there is a 8” sub on the ground. But the lattency is a sad thing. I tired it with 4 Ue speakers wired through an aux splitter & its the same thing. It could be fixed in an update, but for the price I will be returning it. I prefer quality synced sound to deep bass with echo...

My megaboom still works perfect, but my megaboom 3 has a problem with the bass sadly so I cannot boost the bass anymore

I love my Hyperboom! Only takeaway is that if i go to the beach all day, there isnt a place to plug in the speaker to keep a charge and we're usually at the beach a good 7 hours during the summer with music blasting at 100.....we get a good 3 to 4 hours at full blast. Can you recomment me an affordable power supply brick one mine, id ont want to plug anything in and mess up the battery!

My problem with this unit is that it's 4 yrs old. I don't want to buy one now (Apr 2024) and have an upgraded model come out 2 mths later. I wish this had a built in grab handle on the top, too, instead of at the back edge. I would like to hear two of them in stereo mode.

Also I'd like to know how it operates? for example, do I need to leave it on all the times? what happens when I leave home, should I turn it off or it turns off automatically? another question is, if I leave home and return later on, can I play the music from my phone by simple clicking on the music on the phone? yes I am aware by long pressing the play button on the Hyperboom, it will play your music list, but how bout from if I want to play the music from my iphone and just returned home, would it connect to the hyperboom automatically without the need to press the on button on the hyperboom? no one has reviewed to this details, so how about that?

How good the hyperboom sound when compared to Sonos Five?

I purchased the Hyperboom to use outside when using my hot tub. I also own two Sonos Five's that I use for the dinning room / kitchen portion of the house. My wife and I enjoy the sound of the Play Five over the Hyberboom. When we did the comparison we compared one Sonos Five to the Hyperboom. The mids and highs of the Sonos Five's are crisp and clear and the Hyperboom sounds dull compared to the Sonos. I have adjusted the EQ settings on the Hyperboom. The Hyperboom is loud and produces bass and is great for outdoor use. If you are looking for a indoor speaker only I recommend going with the Sonos Five.

Hi, I'm excited about this speaker, but I just bought it refurbished, and it's not connecting to my Samsung Galaxy phone...😔 It says "pairing not accepted" on my phone, when I press "HYPERBOOM" network I tried shutting the phone down and turning to speaker off, to retry, and it still isn't working. I wonder if the battery is low on the speaker-Could that be why it's not accepted on my phone? I had it plugged in to charge for 4 hours... Also when I unplug the charger cable and press "power" it doesn't light up. Has anyone had this happen? Any tips would be great☆

I considered the Epicboom. It has good sound, apparently, after you do the firmware update, and it's a nice size. Larger than most, smaller than many. I took it off my list though because it has no aux input. Dumb move on UE's part. This Hyperboom has 2 aux inputs (analog and optical/digital), the Epicboom - zero aux inputs.

Hey man, what speakers would you say are a fair bit louder than this? I just ordered it and it’s not loud enough , thought it would be... so what’s the next step up in clarity, bass, loudness, water resistance. I’m not worried about weight or size. But under 800$.

Go for the JBl Party Box 300 or The SOUNDBOKS 2 they are both fairly big speakers though and way heavier than the Hyperboom coming at about 30 LBS each, but massive sound soundboks goes up 122 Decibles which is 3 times louder than the Hyperboom. I would go soundboks because is louder and it seems better but is very heavy

Who TF listens to music at max volume? I have never once turned any stereo or speaker up to max volume in my long life. I suppose if you lived on a large acreage/farm and you had 100 people outdoors turning a storm you might need to crank it to 11, but otherwise, nope.

Why is it NEVER made clear that this speaker is made by logitech????? There stuff breaks in under a year and if you are going to spend $500, then you want a speaker that will last years. The charging will stop working in a year and this is a big problem for this speaker. It was clear when I called logitech that this has been happening MANY TIMES. @@raynman6466 I leave some everywhere, plus on long trips you can just swap instead of recharge. For the boom serie, Boom (1-2-3) Megabooms (//) and hyperboom can connect together & work at quite a range, so you can sound up a whole house or a huge spot outside :)
