Thanks for watching. There are only two Megabooms. They called the new one a Megaboom 3 for some reason even though it is only the second iteration of the speaker. This is for the Megaboom, not the Megaboom 3. We are sorry for the confusion with the battery life. You are correct, it is 20 hours. When we say "boom" we are referring to the Megaboom as the other speaker is a Megablast. MD.

Thank you for your review, very helpful to have all the specs pop up as you describe them. But considering this is an electronics channel and you are describing audio equipment, the audio on your video is appalling. I would suggest you invest in some muffling foam to improve the sound quality - I'm glad I'm not listening to it through a UE speaker!

Hello Adam, thank you for watching our video. That is a very valid reason not to purchase the Ue Megablast. They are looking to update the software eventually and make the Ue Megablast speaker compatible with other sets of Ue Megablast speakers.

What you failed to mention is the Blast Series is NOT compatible with the Boom series which I just found out, the hard way. It sucks because I have 2 UE Booms, 1 Mega Boom and bought the Mega Blast to run all of them since it is Alexa compatible. Epic fail! It won't work with them. Stop flexing for the videos and focus on facts. Pros and cons.
