Hi to the guys who are making the same thing in UE5.0 set u r ndk 21.1.6 and at first time attempting to connect via USB comes in terminal open the app it will show error click ok and then again it will automatically launch and will work properly ..I tried till 21.15 and it works 🎉 ...i ll come back again after finishing the full project After some days:Wow cool this works perfectly fine for 5.0.3 the light estimation was top notch felt happy..thank you enrico.perfect one.Only problem is i cant see small text in your videos please zoom your screen and then record brother thats it thank you

thanks, for the contribution, .. but at least you don't use 4.27 because you feel forced, I suggest you go to the other tutorial in my channel, (the one for the ue5.0 version) which is perhaps more correct for version 5.. there have been some changes for the compilation between the two versions... and I also recommend reading in the description there are further helps.👍

Greetings!! This is a fantastic update to your previous IMAGE tutorial :-) I have built my project based on your blueprint, and I am using both Animated and Non-Animated Skeletal meshes. It creates and awesome experience!!! I was wondering...... does the Image have to be Flat on a Surface, like a table for the ARModel to appear straight up and down as it should look? Or can the Blueprint be adjusted so that i can scan an Image on my PC screen, and the ARModel appears correct in the World Space that i am looking at on my phone?

I have been working on 1 variation where the 3D Model is Always upright, no matter the orientation of the Target Image, for example, your Chess Piece is always upright, in relation to the floor, or table......... Any ideas? I would like to put the Target image on a wall, any 3D Model i use for the experience, is still upright, in relation to the Floor where i am standing. I have tried changing the settings in the AR Session, (World Alignment & Session Type), but have not figured out how to have the 3D Model stay upright, regardless of the orientation of the Target Image. If you have any ideas of what i can try, please let me know.

I'm doing fine but I had an issue: my android is able to recognize the image, but I don't see the camera image... it just draw the line around the fisical image, it folows my moviments, but my cell screen only displays this frame ovar a blanck background. I am idealizing a project for an escape room using Ar technology and your videos help me a lot, I even did some tests for the U5 but maybe due to my lack of experience I couldn't create without that unreal pattern that you scan a surface and generate a 3d model. Then I managed to use your model to recognize images and create the models, but it causes a lot of conflict, it crashes a lot and even appears some arrows when the model crashes.

What he means is that after detecting the image, it spawns two of the same actor. One on the image positioned accurately, the other is somewhere random, sometimes on top of the other mesh, sometimes very far away. I have the same issue. I don't understand how it's spawning two actors at the same time, maybe you can help us out

(if it doesn't work like that, it's probably an error on the blueprint).

Thanks for this, I used this template for this app, but using a blueprint rather than a static mesh: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX6QnmOjbquYjqs However I have found the tracking to be quite hit and miss, using Samsung Galaxy S7 FE. The target seems to drift. Would be good if it was possible to somehow lock the model to world space once it has found and aligned properly to the image target, but it seems to drift.
