I wish I had found your channel and this tutorial before I paid $$$ for a course by another YT UE instructor who, frankly, annoys me. Your instruction is clear, concise, the pacing is perfect, and your vocal delivery is excellent. This method of creating landscapes is already clearly better than the one taught by the other one, so I'll be using your method for sure. I'm very eager to see what other UE tutorials you have on your channel, and hopefully soon I can purchase some of your more in-depth courses as well. Great job and thank you!

This was very helpful. As someone who hasnt spent much time on level design, this definitely helped me going in the right direction :)

I have a question, i wan't to recreate terrain from another 3d game, for exemple i choose 1 part of the terrain and i will start sculping till i get similar result, but this will be just little piece of map, how do i join others land scapes into one big landscape(world) single map open worlds dunno how to call it
@SirKingHoff2 жыл бұрын
Ive only just started doing UE4 but you can merge entire landscapes as one file and import it into other levels. I created a dungeon during on tutorial and a forest on another, Saved the dungeon and imported it into the forest level and was able to place it in that world
@betraid2 жыл бұрын
@@SirKingHoff that's different, you probably have diferent fbx or other format model of your dungeon, terrain it's different it's not a mesh in my case
@SirKingHoff2 жыл бұрын
@@betraid have you tried just copy and pasting from one level to another? I know thats a really simple solution but worth asking
