Oh damn! Pretty cool stuff. I bet this could be really useful for a hotel/mall environment!

Hi mate, can you do based physics door like amnesia style?Thank you for the tutorials which are awesome.Keep it on ^^

Not sure how that works, I've never played that game. I've looked for videos, but I didn't figure out how exactly it works. Can you describe its behavior?

Thank you very much for the video!!. Ask you to make a video about tank tracks. I never knew how to make it.
@Lusiogenic6 жыл бұрын
Making tank tracks is quite difficult. I'm not sure if I'll ever implement them. I've found this tutorial series that shows how to make them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHS8ioqlp9iMprM kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWrGZGqwfK1pi5I kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn-3aaeaaM2eiZY

Do you reckon you could make a tutorial on how to make a weighted pulley system with physics in UE4? Thanks for your super useful vids
@Lusiogenic6 жыл бұрын
Making physically accurate pulleys is hard, if not impossible in the engine as it is right now. The pulleys, themselves, are really easy to implement. The problem is the rope. I've made a rope implementation (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnawlKVvbch3gKc), but I don't see it holding weights. It barely holds its own weight. The cable system plugin doesn't exert physics forces on the objects, so it simply gives way. The only way I would see it possible is to simulate the movement using physics constraints, but I don't have a clear solution in mind for that.

Fantastic Videos, can you do one of a physics based rope bridge for third person?
@Lusiogenic6 жыл бұрын
I was planning on implementing a rope bridge, but I think it would take too many physics constraints to implement it. It would probably be too resource hungry..

Yes, I will, but I'm very busy ATM. That's why the upload rate has decreased. I probably won't be able to make it until november.

Maybe you can do a tutorial on how to make a physics based windmill
@Lusiogenic6 жыл бұрын
I was thinking of a water mill. Not sure what to use to drive the windmill.
@reerjgiorge6 жыл бұрын
Wind... lol. You would need to make some wind implementations. And i guess thats out of the theme of these tutorials.
@Lusiogenic6 жыл бұрын
I guess it would need a global wind system, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. If it's only the windmill that needs to rotate, you can simply add torque to it. I made a simple implementation of wind here, but it doesn't have fluid dynamics: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGrPh3R6rslrkLM BTW, fluid dynamics is very complicated to implement and consumes a lot of resources. So unless it's a game that is made around that (like a fighter plane, for example), it doesn't actually make sense to use it.
