33:41 "Global force resident mip levels...we'll ignore that"... haha! I laughed out loud. been wanting a clear explanation of exactly what that does and when you should use it. Otherwise, this is a fantastic video, thankyou!

Ryan, Fantastic stuff!!! I got through most of all of your content. Very impressive! I was recommended to come and view your videos by a colleague of mine. I have been using Unreal for a few years now (Teach it on occasion), but I was always stumped on the different nodes and their differences. If you had time could I request a video to maybe go in depth between a few common types (example: Append, Lerp, Multiply, Divide Blend, Constants, Scalars, etc.) Pretty much the most common nodes of when to use them and why. Since there is quite a bit they do get confusing on which to use, even for a long time user. Thanks!!!! Keep it up! This is Awesome!

thank you for recording 4k. I hate 1080 creators like we're still in 2009 LuL Sad how this video only has 4500 views. This clearly shows that no one cares about optimization, not worth their time and effort. They rather just send out whatever at shit performance. I've watched dozens of optimization videos and they always have the least amount of viewers. Sad.

Which compression setting would you use for Roughness/ao/metallic etc.. ? BC1, dxt5 or BC7 nosrgb ? Building for PC/windows platform.

BC7 (no sRGB) will provide you the best quality. BC7 is supported on windows with DX11+ You'll want to check stats and profile for the final memory size.

I watched the whole thing just to see what "Global force mip levels" does and you spent time explaining simple shit like how the interface zoom works but then you just ignored that one that is least self explanatory lol

Consider setting the desktop resolution (or the capture window area size) to 1920x1080 before you start recording. Because the text is too small! I can't see shit! ☹ God forbid someone watch this on a phone or even a tablet. Otherwise it's an okay video.
