I'm a couple videos behind this but I just wanted to say you're doing an awesome job and once caught up, I def have some ideas on what you could teach some of us to go along with this playlist!

Okay, so I am caught up now. One thing I think worth changing is the volume of the shooting. I note that if I hip fire and the camera is further from the gun, the shot is quieter. But if you zoom in, it's much louder and it gives me a heart attack every time seeing as it's the only sound in the project haha. Perhaps we make a UI element for the bases health as well. In my game, I currently have 5 waves set up. I have 4 different enemies, and on the first 4, you see all of them. My enemy 2 is a little larger but slower for it. Will increase his damage next but he currently has double the health of he standard enemy. Enemy 3 is much much faster, with a walk speed of 1200 compared to the original 800, but I set their health lower. For wave 5, I made enemy 4 who is a huge boss like enemy with a health of 3 thousand. So with all that said, and you having it set up for different enemies, I wouldn't mind seeing some variations you could set up. Another idea my friend and I talked about while watching (this was before you built the turret menu) was it would have been cool if while in build mode, you could use left and right to cycle through the different turrets, but the menu achieves the same effect, but just takes more visually on the screen, and has potential to break like I mentioned in a prior comment about the GhostTurret staying in scene if you open build menu while already in build mode. Perhaps a game over screen when player or base is killed, with a restart button on UI? Adding the jump animation into the ABP wouldn't be a bad idea if doable. Every time my son watches me working on it, he brings up the fact that my jump isn't correct lol. I have more thoughts but as I continue working on side ideas in-between videos, I will surely be able to add more comments with ideas or thoughts. Tanks for all you do! PS, you are ripped lol. One quick add, was when placing turrets, can we set it up where they can not overlay each other, or be placed floating in the air? I've also seen where I can accidentally trap myself in the turrets and can not move. Am also able to just place a line of turrets on the track and block the enemies from going through so maybe turrets shouldn't be allowed on track, like BTD? Making it turn red when unable to be built (whether for unlevel ground or lack of money) when be awesome as well. Maybe while in Build Menu, we could lock camera so when clicking the turret, the camera won't be aimed into the sky. No issue in between waves but could be frustrating mid wave

To those of you that are struggling with ur own TD and leaking enemies. You will find that you cannot continue to the next wave.. Go into Bp_Base and change the BPI to the new BPI_spawner. I made it this far and are almost in the end of this series I have a suggestion on another video. Is that you send your own defenders from your base to help you defend and they run towards the enemies that are incoming towards our base. This would help me massivly as i dont really know how to create that enemy for myself and fight the enemy (and i do not want to create duplicates blueprints) i imagine there must be a easier way to use the dame blueprint enemy, but to use emurator or tag or maybe change the behavior tree Another suggestion is that we also add income timer and income. Foe example. We have a wave timer that ticks each 30sec. For each defender we send we increase our next income by X amount. As last i want to thank you for an really awsome series, this helped me tons tl get started, i used ue4 few years ago but i have forgotten all. So this helped me start if you have patron or anything id like to sponsor. Thanks!

Lets see, I can do both of those. The gold increase being linked to wave timer and not wave is interesting, I might show both of those. As for the patron thing, I really appreciate the support. I might set it up later where you can donate if you want to support, but I don't want to paywall anything. My goal is to get monetized on KZbin and hopefully I can make enough from that to do this full time.
