okay but what if I want a random item from a list of items, i.e (cube, sphere, cone).

Thanks for the generous sharing! This really helps a lot! Sorry as a newbie, my mind is totally empty about setting the loop you mentioned at the end. I got the "Set loop" node and tried to connect with RANDOM and CLASS in SpawnActor, which doesn't work. How to do it correctly?

Yeah well, would be even cooler if it would be inside of a volume and it chooses points

Does it have to be done from the level blueprint?
@iamprofmoto5 ай бұрын
This can be done without putting this on the level blueprint. When I’m teaching in class, and in some of my videos, I talk about how level blueprints are inefficient because they are not repeatable. It is definitely possible to implement this code using an empty actor, which is my usual method of add functionality like this. I won’t be posting a tutorial on how to do this, but the concepts of how to set up blueprints in an empty actor are in some of my other videos. Good luck!

@@iamprofmoto I set this up within in a stress test using fps as a variable, however when I first followed, if I had a single item spawning it would spawn an item at every spawn point rather than randomly selecting one outside of the level blueprint. However it does seem to work within the testing framework as it's own blueprint and my test works perfectly now. Thanks for the tutorial!
