Side Notes: 1.The Stade de Rondourou is actually Guingamp's home ground, but Brest had to use this for the Champions League games since their own stadium is too small and doesn't met the required UEFA stadium criterias. 2.The Veltins Arena is actually Schalke 04's home ground, but due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, Shakhtar Donetsk had to play the Champions League games there. It gets even crazier if Shakhtar Donetsk paired up with any Bundesliga clubs since most fans believed that game is a regular Bundesliga matchup (even though Schalke 04 is 2.Bundesliga club). This is mainly due to the new format in this competition, which allowed a single team to face a maximum of 2 teams from the same country. 3.I'm also pointing out that Bayern Munich's home ground will also host this season's final. It might be hillarious to see them losing again just like what happened 13 years earlier, when they lost on penalties to Chelsea.

Brest's stadium does not meet UEFA standards for hosting European cup matches, so they play at the nearest compliant stadium.

So its more a shame for the City and the Major that they do nothing about it. And yes that’s true, back then we played against Real Man U, Nottingham, Juventus and other big Teams in the past
