He walks around 185. Totally manageable to do 170 no problem. I’m a BJJ professional and I compete at 170 while walking around between 185-188. Colby was a wrestler who had to do fast weight cuts. It’s easier than you think once you’re in the process of doing so. However, someone like Porier cutting from 185 to 155 in a couple of days as a back up would be impossible. That’s why they had Volk be the backup for Islam vs Charles. Just some food for thought.

That entire division is needing cleared out, if wonderboy doesn’t want to fight anyone who might even threaten a takedown he should be removed from the rankings and can keep fighting Kevin Holland on the prelims. Masvidal and Colby need to fight some prospects to prove they still deserve to be there, they’ve had numerous title shots now without really fighting anyone relevant.

He’s turned down Leon, Burns, Khamzat, belal, wonder boy at one point. He won’t fight anyone but for a title shot. How he’s #1 contender I don’t get it. The UFC can be a bit of a clown show. Doesn’t matter both party’s in the main event made weight. This weigh in brought even closer to being next in line though.
