Then the first time he did, they said he was still too fast and he had to slow down more. Had to do retakes until he was slow enough the cameras could stay on him. Maybe he was really good but the fact is MMA = Mixed Martial Arts, and Bruce only uses some styles of Kung Fu with a little bit of Taekwondo and Karate. Bruce Lee was the master of eliminating the opponent's attack range and doing major damage from up close. In a sense, offense was his greatest defense. Jeet Kune Do is about maximizing power with minimal movement. I bet McGregor would still be able to put up a good fight, he's a smarter fighter than people give him credit for, but I can guarantee that this fight would not have lasted one round either way.

It's well documented throughout historical records and firsthand eyewitness accounts. Just because he's never competed professionally doesn't mean he can't fight. I agree fighting today has evolved a lot - we can only use our best judgment, but there is no doubt Bruce Lee is one of the great fighters in history. Many great athletes in our history don't have any video record because it came after their time or was right when it started.
