The mistake Izzy made in the last fight was he let Alex refresh for the last round. Alex in the fifth round just went all out n said he will kill Izzy. Similar mentality Izzy had against Kevin gastelum . Izzy is one of my favorite fighter in the ufc because of his style, swag, how talented he is and such a entertaining guy to watch. I think if Izzy can get to 4th round he should go for the kill otherwise Alex is just a scary dude to fight in the fifth round. May the best fighter win tho.

Honestly Adesanya doesn't have to change anything. Changing anything would be a mistake. He was clearly always good enough to beat Pereira. He could have won all 3 fights. He just didn't. I think his best chance is going out there and doing the exact same thing. He fought a perfect fight last fight until the late finish. Pereira was only especially successful with leg kicks. If Adesanya does better with checking leg kicks he can win comfortably. He is a master at controlling the distance. Pereira threw many of those left hooks throughout the fight. Sure he only needs to land one, but Adesanya dodged them for 20 minutes. He can do it for 25.

This is nothing but psychological barier for Izzy. He lost 3 times and that is whats putting huge brake in his head. He is very inteligent and he needs to learn how to overcome that brake by being cold,patient and decisive in the octagon.
