UFC 300 BMF Championship fight between Max Holloway vs Justin Gaethje.
The former UFC featherweight champion, Max “Blessed” Holloway will move up to the lightweight division to Challenge Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje for the BMF title at UFC 300. Holloway (25-7 MMA, 21-7 UFC) challenges BMF champion Gaethje (25-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in a lightweight bout on April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
With Holloway and Gaethje pegged as the next title challengers in their respective weight classes, many questioned why this fight is even happening. Justin Gaethje is a top contender in the UFC lightweight division, so it isn’t a surprise to see him be the favorite coming into the fight against Holloway.

i got max gaethje couldn’t finish chandler or fiziev with his hands and max holloway has a 10x better chin than both of them people are counting him out acting like gaethje finna KO him with the first punch. He KOed porier with a headkick and i doubt that he’s catching max with that. The leg kicks are probably maxs biggest problem in this fight if anything. I think the thing with max is max is a boxer who outboxes other boxers at 145 and in his LW fight hes fighting dustin who is also a primary boxer. Gaethje is slightly different from that with his heavy leg kick game. Good back and watch geathje vs alverez. Alverez fought similar to Holloway with lots of volume with peppering shots and it really threw geathje off. Max has an incredible chin too so he has the right tools to win. I think Holloway will loose but he does have a chance. It’s not a lopsided fight. He looks big for this fight too. He doesn’t need to cut weight like justin. Holloway needs to avoid the leg kicks and he’ll be fine with the hands.

I watched Max take multiple shots from Conor Mcgregor who at the time was knocking everyone out with just 1-2 of those Mcgregor punches. "Only" Max survived all those shots from Conor at 145.(Diaz took them too, but they fought way up at 170 and I think that helped Nate absorb those punches. Even though Conor's punches made Nate's speech slurry permanently...he still took them.) So I feel that he can easily take Justins punches..and take a lot of them. Max needs to practice his leg "checks' and shut down Justin's shin bone and feet from messing up Max's skinny legs, or it will be a bad night for the Hawaiian.
