Only had one fight bro, I prefer my Muay Thai but I've always loved MMA, even though I won my last fight via RNC lol. Get down a gym a train brother, it does take dedication but if you like the sport it'll be the best thing you ever do with your life! :D
@thetruemanc61957 жыл бұрын
Matt Yesss! I've been doing Muay Thai for 8 years and I'm a brown belt in BJJ. I've had 2 amateur fights (won both by RNC). People like Frank Mir actually inspire me, I still remember him snapping Big Nog's arm😶 anyways, good luck, lad!

I've been wanting to try BJJ for the longest time now. I better get my ass to my local gym and give it a shot
@user-686hs-777 жыл бұрын
John bro trust me it'll be the best thing you ever do! Any fears or nervousness you may have honestly just throw it out the window. With BJJ especially everyone is so so sooo welcoming of newbies, as long as you show dedication and get in the mix you'll have no problems, regardless of skill or athleticism! Where are you based man, there is some top top BJJ gyms all around England if you're over here!

Thanks Geordie for making the belting content, my biggest inspiration to give youtube a shot :)

I enjoyed this podcast so much! Frank Mir has been one of (if not) my favourite fighter for the longest time and for me he was one of the most important fighters to MMA and is a perfect representation of MMA. Such a big dude that is so gifted and skilled on the ground. If you've ever seen Frank Mir roll then you understand how skilled he actually is. What I really loved though was his insight to UFC (how the company has changed, how he deals with the lead up to fights and his experiences in MMA). Now I know that he has his own podcast I'm definitely going to subscribe!
