Aspinall is a real down to earth lad. He came to my work in Leeds after the Curtis fight and literally nobody except me and my mates recognised him. Now he probably can't walk down the street in a village without somebody noticing him lmao. Great guy. Signed a piece of paper for me cos I was too shy to ask for a picture 😅

He is so down to earth and has time for anyone. I saw him on a night out with his mates in Atherton (Town he's from) a couple of weeks ago, and he was happy to chat and have pictures with anyone. It's also amazing to have a local UFC heavyweight champion.

It's very easy to fucking hate Tom Aspinall. Everything about him is irritating. His overconfidence is completely unfounded and he has not proven himself in the UFC at all. All of his losses are to people that outgrappled or could easily out grapple him and y'all are convinced he could take out Jon Jones. That is the peak of delusion. The UFC and it's dumbass fanbase glaze British fighters for no reason, they are all the same annoying cocky twats

My introduction to Aspinall beyond existing on cards and being chill was his reaction to the injury (I am somewhat of a lapsed viewer since the pandemic hit, though I still follow the same MMA channels) He really is a special individual. Warm, kind, funny, humble, professional AND an absolute monster in an MMA bout. Whenever I've met "tough guys" the only ones that deserve the title have been similar. They're so tough they don't NEED to be arrogant or aggressive. Anyone displaying those toxic traits is likely nowehere near as tough as they think they are. A genuine role model.

Been waiting for this one. Fantastic interview as always Brian. Tom deserves the undisputed title without a doubt. He's only just getting started and he'll do great things.

We all know Jon ain’t the undisputed champ 😂 waiting to fight stipe who was limping recently and is old ash coming off his worst ko loss in his career , rather than fighting a true contender in aspinal but we all know the reason why he ain’t taking the fight …

The dudes ego is also way too big to vacate and it’s obvious when you look at the way he’s manufactured his “GOAT” status and fooled all of the sheep into believing it 😂 Tom will undermine Jon’s legacy whether he fights him or not.

And what reason is that? Jon had dominated much better guys than Tom. Tom has never faced a guy in the same realm as Bonny. When the fight happens, please keep this same energy.

I feel like Ngannou is also a reason why the UFC isn’t willing to do the right thing (Jones v Aspinall). The undisputed HW champion walked out the door which was a massive black eye for the company so how do they legitimise their new HW champion? Put him up against the only guy who beat Francis. Apart from the real HW goat Derrick Lewis ofc

Guess we’ll never know because Jones won’t fight him. Picked his opponents wisely past few years and would be his wisest decision to stay clear of Tom in the later stages of his career in my opinion.

My mum died a couple of years ago, and I gave her a hard time over the years. I didn't know she had autism until it was too late. I've come to realise now that my grandmother has it too. It's heartbreaking, but we will get through it. Love Tom, & Bryan.
