UFC's Tom Aspinall certainly has made waves in the heavyweight division since making his Octagon debut back in 2020, earning finishes in all four fights he has competed in. Aspinall looks to earn another finish on Saturday, March 19, as he takes on Alexander Volkov in the main event at UFC London.

His shots are super precise, quick and hard. Dudes sharp on his feet and his takedown/execution is brilliant. Love that quick second he took to throw a knee and then blast a nice elbow in. Solid setup. I was expecting a nice shot, thought it was gonna be an inside uppercut. Nope. Dope delivered a sharp elbow. Also super humble which is a nice thing to see.

His defence is good plus his chin seems solid for the little he’s been hit he’s undoubtedly gonna fight for the belt 2023, I have a feeling tai is getting the next shot , idk if it’ll be against Francis but with everything going on with him and he doesn’t work out something with ufc we might end up seeing aspinal vs tai tuivasa for a interim or vacant title or one of those 2 vs Francis … tell me the last time heavy weight has been this poppin … and oh yeah trust me I love stipe but with him going full time fire fighter it’s hard to see him getting that back

Tom is probably the most genuine down-to-earth ufc fighter around; he has zero gimmicks going on, which is very refreshing to see. he's very raw and is still very much learning his trade. Tom could easily go right to the very top in the ufc. I can see Tom in a couple of years winning the ufc championship belt. Tom most definitely has what it takes to reach the very top in the ufc. Good luck, Tom Aspinall, from a fellow Brit.

I’m calling it now I believe he will be the first one to defeat Jon jones in the octagon if they ever fight. Jones toughest fights were against Reyes and Gustafson which were very slick boxers with good head movement. With the extra power this man has he would be a nightmare for jones

@MalleusIudaeorum

@@KamerunprrdaN yeah he’s one of the hardest fights in the division for him imo, harder than Gane or Ngannou. Styles make fights. I think Stipe and Blaydes would be the two hardest fights for him. I think Aspinall will destroy Gane and Ngannou only has a punchers chance against him. Blaydes has good wrestling and can hit hard on the feet too so he can compete wherever the fight goes. Where as Tom would play with Ngannou and Gane on the ground. As for Jon Jones he hasn’t been in top form for years and Tom would just bully him and finish him. Tom is the best fighter in the division imo.

Aspinall has quickly became one of my favorite fighters. My only critique is when he’s in close he gets touched a lot! In the Heavyweight division that’s not a good way to become champ. Hope he learns to get his hands up when in close.

Agree. But Jones is older, and maybe he thinks of retirement and it seems that he isn't in good shapes in the last few months, so Aspinall has great opportunity, but as u said never ever no one don't underestimate Jones. After all of that i would say 50/50@@Chilleroo

@@whiterabbit8243 You see what Aspinal did to Volkov? I just dont see how Ngannu or Gane beat Tom. Gane was giving Ngannu trouble on the feet so Francis had to out wrestle Gane the rest of the fight to barely win. Tom has some of the fastest hands I’ve ever seen on a H.W and his precision, timing, speed and head movement is in a different dimension then Francis & Gane even. That being said, when it comes to grappling Tom also is in another league then both Gane and Ngannu. Toms been grappling since he was a small child and is a black belt in bjj. He took Volkov down and submitted him like a min later
