Disappointed to see it go down like this, the same way I was for Usman…. So many people feel like that’s what makes fighting so exciting, that one single move can literally decide the entire fight…. But I’d personally rather see an absolute clinic put on or a slugfest where the last man standing is truly the BMF. These Hail Mary knockouts don’t do it for me, I don’t think Gaethje proved he’s the better fighter or badder than Poirier at all. But he won, he’s got the belt…. So it doesn’t matter. Just one person’s opinion.
