Can I apply the thermal paste instead of thermal pad on gpu

🫠Regarding your question, absolutely not the distance is not even number, so if you place an thermal pad you will counter push the heatsink away from GPU/CPU, use thermal putty. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

I have this laptop and it turns off automatically after some minutes of turning it on.some time it will reach till the windows login screen and it will turn off. I reapplied thermal paste and still the problem exist.can you help me in this regard
