The National Guard mystery is actually pretty easy to explain. When I was in the Guard, I noticed others would be mentioned as such even when not in their Guard duties. Especially in small town settings. Guardsman who is off duty and on vacation helps after a car accident? The papers will list "Sgt. So and so of the National Guard...." It's easy to imagine several members of the Guard in the Fire or Law Enforcement in the area. They assign an Officer, who is also a member of the National Guard, to guard the remains for a few hours. And when the report is being typed up, they just throw in that a "National Guard member" secured the remains. Technically accurate, and if the Guard wasn't officially involved then they would not show up in the report as assisting.

Beyond that, if they served primarily as scene security to keep bystanders from entering the area and potentially disturbing things, there's a good chance they wouldn't be included in a crime scene log. I work in law enforcement. It's pretty common to avoid entering the active (usually marked with crime scene tape) scene when we're there solely to prevent unauthorized access. If we don't enter the active scene (and therefore never see it), we don't have to be put on the crime scene log. It prevents us from being subpoenaed just to tell the courts, "I stood outside and made sure no bystanders went in. Nope, didn't see the body. Nope, didn't see any of the evidence. Nope, didn't interview anyone." If the national guard members who were there for security were well away from the main crime scene I could see them not being listed in the crime scene logs. I'm sure who they were would have been documented in some way, just not necessarily in a crime scene log, so there wouldn't be as high a priority on preserving that record. It could have been in some of the missing supplemental reports. It's hard to say for sure, but certainly is not unusual.

What about condescending DP! Oh, please. I mean cocky and leaves out important information that PROVES how someone died- like the yong man that wanted 'freedom' from his family after high school and went to Alaska and lived in the wild Alaskan wilderness in that old bus and actually died from eating certain seeds - that scientists thought was his failure to distinguish between the toxic seeds of the wild sweet pea plant which he confused with the seeds of the wild potato plants (and he did NOT know it would kill him) that INHIBITS nutrients from being absorbed by one's body. However another scientist said he did NOT die form the sweet pea seeds, but from the seemingly innocuous wild potato plant which DOES contain a neurotoxin in it that can starve a person and make thir body NOT absorb nutrients for any foods. ....well, DP said, 'did he go there to commit suicide?' ..I don't know?....." RIGHT HE KNEW --ANYONE can look up that sad case of the death of that young man and READ IT for him or her self in two to four minutes and find that information- does he think his 'followers' won't???? They must be brainwashed if they don't! I mean, playing up that suicide angle in a case he presented that is well known that the young man died from eating those toxic seeds of the wild potato plant .....just because HIS son was selfish and killed himself; so purposely presented with misleading, just plain FALSE information it sickens me! I cannot stand when someone does that to get cachink, cachink. The cocky attitude repulses me, quite frankly. THIS young man- Mising Enigma- is a TRUE GENUINE researcher presenting in a FACTUAL, non- biased manner- LOVE THIS CHANNEL! ..and DP wonders why so many are leaving his!

How do you know that this young man didn't know the difference between the sweet pea plant seeds & the wild potato plant seeds? How do you know that he didn't purposely eat the one that he knew could kill him? And I'm not a fan of D.P. either, but I think that what you said about his son was cold, callous, disrespectful & incredibly ignorant. You obviously know not a damn thing about mental illness. In his mind, he probably thought that he was actually doing the most UN-selfish thing. Most people who get to that point are already feeling as if they are a huge burden to their friends and loved ones. They have lost all hope, and because they don't see themselves getting any better, they think that they're honestly doing the world a favor by opting out. You shouldn't judge people like that.

Here is my two cents. I've been a user for 10-plus years and know many users. When you're in a user clique you hear lots of wild-crazy stories, most of them fun. Honestly, I've never heard of someone (who has been using) taking off their clothes and going for a run because is a hot day and feeling warm. However, I work in the medical field and have seen people who are having a heart attack start to take their close off because they feel warm even though it could be freezing outside. Survivors of heart attacks have mentioned that they feel their feet get very hot and sweaty and want to dip them in cold water, on the other hand, some feel cold and want to warm up. Even though we don't have all the facts it sounds like Mr. Sees may have passed away due to heart failure. Yes, it could be related to drug use but it could also be related to many other things that go hand in hand. Thank you for uploading this video, love your work. Cheers from Guatemala!

Something I've noticed in various cases is that if it's reported that someone's family "wasn't allowed to see the body", the body in question is usually decomposed or in some other state that would be upsetting to look at. While funeral homes are technically required to let family see the body if they want, they will sometimes try hard to convince the family not to in these sorts of situations. This might be perceived as malicious or suspicious by a family member that doesn't know the state that the body is in. In this case, I noticed the report said he had maggots on his face. The professionals involved probably just wanted to spare his family the trauma of seeing him like that. And even an experienced embalmer can only do so much, so they probably just recommended a closed casket as the best option.

You are certainly extremely thorough in your investigations and your presentation of the case is also exceptional. Logic and reason are IMO crucial critical skills in analyzing cases such as these.

Nick I wonder if you would ever like to make a video that's not about a particular case but just a primer on how to read between the lines when it comes to missing persons cases. It could be a shallow or deep dive, depending on how many of the factors that typify these cases you want to talk about, and how deeply, whether you give examples, etc. But there are certainly some factors that come up over and over again, factors whose believablity appear to rely on ignorance of the general population. Just for example, like you said a lot of people don't realize the sorry state of the title of 'Coroner' in many locales. To that I will add, a lot of people think that 'Coroner' and 'Medical Examiner' are the same thing, which isn't true, even if coroners sometimes are the extent of victims' medical examinations.

His cause of death probably should have been classified as an accidental overdose. This happens when a person does non lethal amounts of a drug for a long time and the drug builds up in their system over time until it becomes lethal. This would explain why there was a relatively small amount of cocaine in his body but a relatively high amount of cocaine metabolites.
@sykoteddy7 ай бұрын
Actually, you don't need to die of an overdose either. So I believe cocaine toxicity is totally right.
