@@jurgencuypers8350 with all due respect. But in the United States (where I live) UFO went basically unrecognized. So yes you can say “commercially” too. @@johnnyrocker7495 to make it even sweeter, the AC/DC - UFO concert was a special discounted Thanksgiving show, and tickets were only $3!!!! That was half-price at the time! AC/DC were virtually unknown at the time, and UFO was just getting some airplay here in Knoxville at the time, with "Too HotTo Handle"...but Knoxville became hugely supportive of AC/DC after that, and their next two shows in town with Bon Scott were sold out. Some band called The Motors opened the '77 show, but they didn't go over too well with the crowd, and I never heard them again, though there are some videos of them on KZbin

Note, that the guitarist Paul Chapman who is standing in for Michael Schenker - (had he left at this time?) does his own take on the main rhythm / lead guitar part. It is pretty close the way Schenker does it. As this is just about the only UFO track that Schenker recorded with them that is notable for its lack of any dedicated solo section, the song does not suffer from his absence. I think Paul had an impossible job replacing Schenker - and I think their music subsequently felt his loss. Still I have watched DVD'd of later UFO live gigs - and Chapman's work is commendable - if not musically quite as accomplished as Schenker.

I was in the T.O.T.P. audience for this, Wednesday 29th Jan 1979 I think. U.F.O. had to do a re-take at the end of the show. (I presume something was wrong with the first). When we were leaving the studio U.F.O. were jumping into a limo and my Sister's friend asked Phil Mogg for his autograph, and he said "Sorry Next time, we really are in an awful hurry". That must have been the night that Lynsey Franklin mentioned when they were late for their gig. They did mime on T.O.T.P. as did all the acts but it's possible that the "Doctor Doctor" single was a live recording.

Energy seemed to come from the bus and they blew the main act away, I will always love UFO, but they were known to be a bit unfriendly.
