I was 16 when I first was listening to rainbow.. Since that day deep in the woods in my old opel car, I had no driving licence, together with my dear friends...from which only me is the only one surviving all that drugs..... I never will forget.... It was amazing and full of love

Sono sempre stato un fan della Purple family e questa formazione dei Rainbow, senza nulla togliere alle altre, trovo raggiunga livelli di intensità lirica e strumentale straordinari. Ritchie sa essere cesello e fuoco, Ronnie è straordinario: voce magnifica, potente, calda, evocativa, sempre intonata e poi la mimica, la gestualità..vero cerimoniere! Cozy, Jimmie e Tony non sono da meno...specie Powell, Dio mio che batterista!!

And they didn't have native instruments, Guitar rig loop machines computers or stacks of fancy set ups on stage either but I saw them at hammersmith in 81 and they were a bit loud! Richie on a bad night you'd want to miss out but on a good night he was inspirational.just the best there was at the time don't forget this is 35 years ago.
