Thank you as always sir. Couple of thoughts - the 8 OTs were unnecessary if CKS had done what he should have done and kicked the field goal after the 3Q TD rather than going for 2. Then the score at end of regulation would have been 28-27, Dawgs win. I didn't see anything in the offensive performance that justified the risk of going down a point if the conversion didn't work (as happened). WHAT is the issue with the tackling??? The runner in only in contact with the ground through their feet. Stop going for a 6-8 yard ride holding them by the shoulder or waist.

Good stuff Coach! I’ve been saying since last year Kirby should pay Buster Faulkner good and bring him back as OC and let Bobo assist or be some kind of analyst. Buster has been carving folks up since he got to GT with lesser talent, just imagine if he had some 5 ⭐️. He sat in the booth with the best Monken and it shows.

16:12 I'll give it to him, Buster called the game of the year for them honestly. When a gy like Monken asks Buster for input and advice on the offensive scheme, that dude is a gem honestly. But the one thing in this game that killed me more than the run fits on defense was the slow short crossers. Just every time they needed a big gain on a long 2nd or 3rd down, they'd have that underneath guy with no one within 8yds of him and they'd either get the first down and more or be 3rd/4th and short. Just kills me when you don't make it semi-competitive for their guys to catch the ball.

At 00:08...DJackson leading with the helmet crown dislodges HKing's helmet upon impact. Great shot of a missed call

@@chazgoat6939 King acknowledges in post game interview that Jackson’s hat hits the ball square which dislodges it from his hands. Says it was a good hit and at no time does any one of the commentators, refs, or others mention targeting. We can complain about the refs ALL DAY LONG (same goes for non calls against UGA-plenty of those as well) bottom line y’all still had chances to win the game outright. Coming from someone who cannot stand some of the refs calls, don’t let them dictate the outcome of the game. Overcome that and win the game outright. If we are waiting on the refs to bail us out you’re going to have a miserable experience. Bama days have helped cleaned my palette of that. 😅

@CoachHayesHudl Haynes is a tough no nonsense guy and graciously says the right thing as a player in public domain, he would never call out officials, that's to his credit and I'm glad. I don't know why it was radio silence from the broadcast booth because you cannot deny what the video clearly shows, that evidence would hold up in a court of law any day as by the book targeting. Not sorry. I agree with you we dont depend on the zebras for outcomes, no doubt. I'm arguing for the objective rule of the law on what targeting is and that video you provided gives a legal defense for it. Head down, spearing or leading with helmet crown and HK's helmet is jarred and dislodged. I'm assuming DJ's crown is simultaneously hitting HK's facemask and the ball. Safe to say that the orientation of HK's head being down put the facemask not far from his chest and the ball and that's the point of impact. Just cannot argue against the tape, it was textbook. It's a shame that a few angles weren't reviewed, at first blush during the game the play was worthy of at the very least, a second look. That's my 2cents

@ to each his own and completely noted my guy-I understand. I truly respect Brent Key and the direction he’s taken his program. I’ve always been a Haynes King fan as well. Hate to see a team lose after that game honestly. Respect 👊🏼💯

@@CoachHayesHudl Feeling is mutual, good show and great breakdown. Final thought is that the way the targeting rule is held as such a Sacred cow to keep players safe, it just has a conspiratorial flavor when a play like that is percieved as normal, nothing to see here. All the elements are in place and an outcome is on the line. Just looks curious Good luck in the playoffs

4:54 to me, and this is just my eyes, that past two weeks playing the style qbs you have played, seems like we have played more run stunts and slants rather than maybe just playing straight up in the gaps and holding to those gaps. Could be wrong but when playing a team like GT that can run thru the gaps with QB power and read pretty well, maybe play em more straight up in the gaps rather than stunting? Could be wrong tho.

28:15 Mykel at times thru this game looked like he was about to go punch a ref in the nose with how many times he was getting held and not getting calls all night. But that is correct, don't leave it into the refs hands bc you'll almost lose every time with them.

Kirby and his crew are constantly getting out coached, or he has an incredibly undisciplined team
