Do you think the offense run by monken that still is the foundation is more advantageous for Gunner? Seems like Beck is a great QB but the offense wasn’t really designed for him

If we had rara and Colbie young, this year would have been way different. Injuries murdered us early in the year, losing Branson early, Rod all damn year, then Etienne for what, 3-4 games. This year hasn’t gone UGA’s way at all in that department. How can you scheme an offense as an OC with all those negatives in play? Now we have a dual threat at QB with a healthy oline and RB room. I think UGA looks like a different team in the playoffs, defense will show as always when needed the most

No injuries and loosing two of our top wr's along with the others leading the nation in drops really hurt becks stats he still led in touchdowns but I think he would have really lit it up if he had some better wr's. Also the gauntlet of a schedule didn't help either

I think so…..I don’t think Monken has developed one pocket passer his entire tenure as an OC. His playbook his designed for a duel threat QB and Stockton has been a Bobo boy since Bobo was still at South Carolina.

@jdtheguitartist i honestly think if we hadn't had so many injuries to the oline and rbs where our run game no doubt would had at least been a little better and between loosing rara and colbie along with our other recievers having a bad year catching the ball that the whole conversation around beck would be completely different if those things hadn't played out the way they did and I believe he's better than he's getting credit for based on the way the season played out

I love the home game thing also... but it might just be too much of an advantage. Every single home team swept their opponents in dominating fashion. That could be a problem moving forward.

They went back and forth with Ohio St. and Tennessee in regards to their ranking and Ohio St. was finally ranked above Tennessee, which gave them the home game. IF Tennessee was the home team, do you think Ohio St. would've beat Tennessee at Neiland ? I'm not 100% sure, but Ohio St. outplayed Tennessee a whole lot more than just a home field advantage, but who knows 🤷‍♂️ ??
