Agree with most of ur take on Gunnar but I could see the passing game getting a huge boost. Him adding another hat to the backfield should open some things up for the receivers & the tight ends. I think they’ll be the difference in this game. GO DAWGS!
@Elitripp3 күн бұрын
Brooks is doing a great job as always. Been listening to him a couple years now and he has a very high football IQ and is confident in his approach and delivery. I think what you will see with Gunner is a lot more tight end use. He's going to move the pocket a lot. Gunner is not afraid to run, and defenses will know that. That will help receivers, especially the tight ends get a little better separation. I do think gunner needs to keep it a little on the RPO's to open up the running lanes a little more, but I don't want to see Gunner trying to lay the smack down on the defender every time he carries it. He doesn't have to carry it that often, but he just needs to enough to make them respect the threat.
@CK-bd8tj3 күн бұрын
I’m with brooks on what he said about the explosiveness of Gunners legs. A lot of my fellow Georgia fans seem to be drinking the kool-aid thinking he’s going to rush for 100+ yards. I think at most it’ll just be used to extend broken down plays and drives or maybe converting a 3rd and 3.

The last thing Notre Dame expects Gunner to do is open it up passing the ball, and I can see Kirby telling Bobo to do just that. Will that fail? Maybe, but none of us know for certain what Gunner's looked like in practice with this team.

@wesleywillis59332 күн бұрын
What made Carson have a better completion percentage was him throwing more high percentage passes. Like way more passe to the TEs and running backs last year vs this year. Add all the dropped passes and intetceptions Carson had thrown due to a lower percentage pass plays and still without having a truely elite wide receiver, one should expect the completion percentage to be lower for Carson. If Bobo calls more high percentage pass plays , like to our TEs and running backs with just a few passes that try and stretch the defense , Gunner should be good. Just don't expect Gunner to do what Carson couldn't even do, consistently connect on deep low percentage pass plays.
@Steeledawg3 күн бұрын
Unless UGA has to max protect the T.E. Will be absolutely critical because there is not a OLB that can cover them.

So Finebaum imagines coming in at half, with your team down, and coming back to win, against a better team than ND, is somehow easier than starting a game against an inferior team like ND. I don't see it. In fact I see no path for ND at all. DAWGS just have to stop the run and it's game over:) ND has to stop EVERYTHING, and don't be fooled, Gunner is a better passer at this time, them Beck, and the SEC Game shows that in spades... for instance. Beck and Gunner each played a half - Beck 21 plays, Gunner 46 / Yds per attempt, Beck 2.6, Gunner 4.8 / 10 yd plays, Beck 2, Gunner 7 / Points, beck 3, Gunner 19. Where is Gunner's deficit???
@JSum813 күн бұрын
Is Texas better than ND? Hmmmm I would be hard pressed to sell that honestly? I mean Texas is a good team, but have they did alot this year to say they are that good... Im not a ND or UGA fan, but I believe ND is every bit as good as Texas and better in alot of areas. UGA might very well win this game, but I recruit for a living and watch alot of film too and UGA fans are drastically underestimating ND and Texas has been at times vastly overrated this year with an easier SEC schedule. You dont have to agree and probably wont, but Texas being in the SEC has inflated their value at times. This ND teams is incredibly solid... don't mistake this as an old Brian Kelly team.... That Defense has NFL talent on all 3 levels as well as any SEC team.
@autonomouspilgrimage61373 күн бұрын
@@JSum81talking about Texas schedule….so who did Notre dame beat this year….Army? Notre Dame has played some of the absolute worst passing teams in college football this year. USC Put up over 550 yards of offense on that defense. I believe Notre Dame is VERY good this year but they haven’t done anything that Texas hasn’t done, and Texas hasn’t lost to a team as bad as NIU either. Something else I found interesting, Indiana allegedly had a great run defense and the average weight of their d linemen is 255, while the average weight of Georgia d linemen is 320
@batmandeltaforce3 күн бұрын

@batmandeltaforce fair... but who is Texas best win? A&M? The same team ND beat by same amount? I'm saying Texas would probably be a 4 loss team if they played Uga schedule. I think Texas is overrated...and i think ND is underrated. That's my opinion.. you don't have to agree.. that's fine.
