No money on the game but i did pick arizona state to beat texas for the cfp challenge, then lose to oregon next round. My theory was the first round games would drain the teams a little more than they did which may have a bit with texas. I think texas could overlook leavitt a bit because scattebo shines so much. But hes thrown 1 pick in the past 6 games. And in that same timehe has thrown 16 td passes. While averaging 68% completion and 250 ypg. Thats a really solid quarterback for playing 3 top 16 teams in that span

Letting Ohio state lean into their passing game too much is not a problem. Ohio state not leaning into their passing is the problem Ohio state could cause them selves. As long as Howard is on point, which he was last Game, they can’t be stopped

This guy just can't understand that the SEC is weak this year. Notre D wins by 2 touchdowns.

One more thought. Let's not get so trigger happy to blame Howard to blow the game. Never underestimate Ryan Day. To me, Howard not sliding in time wasn't near as bad as running out of time with a TO in your pocket. No excuse for that no matter what the circumstances are. Had over a minute. Could have used it anytime and saved probably 40 seconds. Plenty of time to clock the ball. Twice. At least!

Watched them trail and struggle to catch up against nil. They were leading with 6 minutes to go in the game. Try again pate. If RL doesnt throw an agreegous pick. To put them almost in fg range. They should have lined up and ran the ball every play and closed the game out. Dont think the coaching staff makes this same mistake this point of the season.

Great show. In fact, every episode is always great and well thought out. Your read on Oregon vs Ohio State is wrong. Buckeyes will win. They'll get to DG. And...it'll be lower scoring than the last outing bc the game plan the bucks implement and execute will call for it.

Pate was with few people that picked Oregon in the first matchup. He was right then, hes gonna be right again.

I’d say Texas’ defense is better, or at the very least, just as good as Notre Dame’s. UGA beat Texas twice. Once from behind with their backup QB. So UGA has come from behind against good defense this season.

Yes please. They targetted him quite a bit the first game. Duck fans would LOVE for them to go all in on passing. Just focus on what worked against TN. Forget about rushing, just pass lol. Your QB WILL be pressured, eattled, and screw up. He will be on the ground. His "nightmares" about Oregon last time are about to come true again. Again, just expect the TN success for your team and expect the Oregon defense to be like it was against PSU. Then be prepared to watch your fanbase crazies lose their minds when the plans don't work.
