it humbles me to see how the girl making pads says they invest their profits in other peoples skills that its not all about money but also about the community, we have lost this in the west, our selfishness has made us blind.

One of Africa's major problem is the lack of actual knowledge and science. You can go in one of these "schools" forever without actually learning anything useful. What a shame.

Education in uganda is just a business for may business men, very few are innovative to introduce the changes required because they look up to the profits.

Tbh, you do not teach people to survive out of school by treating them like 'children'. Stop applying kindergarten methods on teenagers. EVERYTHING that I was taught using such methods evaporated as soon as I left that classroom. Try to be MORE STREET, coz that is what you are PREPARING THEM FOR. Not how to imitate numbers. Teach them HOW to THINK.

I am a little bit confuse on how young women gonna use that, "washable sanitary pads" whereas menstruation bloods are kinda sticky, of course it would be dirty and at the same time, it could cause odor. So, I really think they should just promote their self-made sanitary pads instead of commanding a washable one because in my own opinion, it could really be weird.

Betty's washable pads are reusable when washed in proper soap. The way cloth diapers were the norm for babies in the United States up into the 1970s. This idea is very Green and economical. Ase'🙏🏿 Uhuru.
