In this video we are looking at several Ugandan foods with different Ugandan stew or sauce. As we share how we cook then our traditional way and also share recipes.
You might be wondering why Ugandans cook their food in banana leaves or smocked banana leaves almost with all their foods,
Its because banana leaves is part of our traditional cooking and Ugandan Men love eating food cooked in banana leaves.
its said, food cooked in banana leaves has extra taste, ingredient with a scent you can find anywhere else. Also its said that its the healthiest food you can ever eat in this world.
Uganda is blessed with plenty of foods with fertile soils that allow all foods to grow and when they cook food, they also cook different types of foods so that person have a pretty to choose from.
And incase someone doesn't eat a specific type of food, he or she doesn't feel left out, they also have alternative to choose from.
One of the reasons why they say Uganda is pearl of Africa is because of pretty of foods and fruits you can choose from.
