It is ok to play brain dead character. There are tons of Cloud mains. What is the point in mentioning Greninja using a projectile? Are you pointing out how he does not have the tools to get a propper combo going? Yes that is definitely true. Like I said he has to work for his damage. You have to wait for people to approach and be lucky enough to catch a mistake on time with a ridiculously long input that is precent specific. Meanwhile Bayo literally just side or up Bs to start a combo and one mishap is a dead character to Witch Time. Her neutral is horrible but it is all around the fear of being comboed.

its a tournament, not your friends house. If you arent going to play the character that is either the strongest, or who you believe gives you the best chance of winning, then you shouldn't sign up in the first place. That is the nature of competitive video games. The size of the check you get at the end of the even't doesnt depend on your characters difficulty, it depends on how many games you won.

LeRoy Goldman bro...u have no idea how strong dive kick would be if left untouched. the hitbox was huge, slightly disjointed, and was an insane combo starter. even without an up b, it still lead to 50/59s with dair, bair, up air, etc. and if they left down air untouched from the first nerf, oh lord u could literally do a dair, jump canceled witch twist, dair, jump canceled witch twist, dair, jump, side b bounce on the stage, and make it back to the stage

Luchiop Salem the best current Bayo, was a legend in Brawl, winning Apex 2013 over M2K. Pink Fresh was consistently winning Xanadus before Bayo was released. Saj took sets off top players like Anti with Peach. 9B was the top Brawl player along with Nairo. I hope you can see that these players are all great, and sure, Bayo is a good character, but the skill level of these players are all high.
