India still lag behind in proper educational training because the very first two comissions focussed on the higher and the secondary education respectively, targetting mostly the professional line, ignoring the need to look forward to the primary base. PS- Also, I think going to Nani ghar and staying amidst rustic environment during vacations used to be a better 'summer camp' actually. Since, people are now alienated from their roots and the gap between rustic and urbnised life is increasing day by day, there is a need now to rely on something like "Summer Camp".

Again, choosing to prefer one subject over another showed how much west-oriented Indian leaders had been. Asserting focus on Science and Maths, that too by sidelining humanities and social science just to compete the world was a hollow idea. And thus, we are here, with no common sense, just competing west..the West where all the scientific development flourished as a superstructure to the social and humanitarian thoughts and concepts that were already flourishing.
