Poor thing, the worst part of having chronic pain is that sometimes people do not believe you, like you are making an excuse not to do something, and that is the worst thing ever
@lgzz48854 жыл бұрын
You know I couldn’t agree more, especially judging off of body language. I psychiatrist told me about a study when I was younger that over 90% of people’s interpreted language comes from body language and their tone of voice. I believe him for sure lol though after thinking about it differently I’ve concluded it can be in our heads... & that this person I’m telling about my pain (or something diabetic related) isn’t even thinking about it that way or the same thing we are thinking or we might be interpreting it incorrectly. Not even close at times...I think that’s the fear aspect of self-Conscience/insecure/embarrassed part of whatever issue manifesting itself into some more grand then it really is 🤔

That’s exactly what I’m going through now with my family. I have severe neck pain and issues with restrictive motion when I turn my head, everyday it gets worse and worse, I try to tell everyone it’s getting bad, but they just act like I’m making excuses or exaggerating. My lack of having affordable and reliable health insurance is gonna be the death of me.

I’m 34, when I was 24 weeks pregnant with my daughter I got in a car accident. It was rainy and dark, they had me get out of my car, they told me to step over the rail so I wouldn’t get hit (they being good guys that stopped to help) I stepped over and fell 50 feet off the bridge overpass. By some miracle I lived and managed to stay pregnant until I was 30 weeks. I broke all my ribs on left side, pelvis shattered, hip on left side was destroyed, and the cherry on top was a TBI. I look normal, other than a messed up gait. I was 18 when it happened. Doctors always dismiss me and the pain I’m in all day, everyday. It’s hell, they throw pillls at you instead of accessing all the issues. I want to go to Florida and see if this amazing Dr. Could help.

Dr. Brenda is so right! I had an accident many years ago that broke both of my legs and I had to learn to walk again. The way I did was watching babies walk. I really appreciate that you take a more holistic approach than many other chiropractors on YT, including talking about what other care providers can do for the patient, going through some exercises and massage as well as the adjustments, it feels like a much more complete and valuable consult than just bringing someone and doing the same set of adjustments on them as every other patient

I’ve been tired and achy since childhood. Adults ignored it. Still not sure what’s wrong. This patient is so right. Some patients are dismissed. Had a few massages as an adult and tell the massage person to go as deep as they want. It hurts, but for some reason you want them to continue. It’s gloriously painful, if that makes sense.

Honestly related to her so much. I've had back, hip, and neck pain for all of my adolescence. It's not terrible (like, a 3 or 4/10), and it hasn't really gotten worse so I haven't seen a doctor about it, but it's constantly there. Q: I can pop my back by taking deep breaths, is it time to go to a chiropractor? Q2: Have you ever seen an ex all star cheerleader, specifically a flyer (the person held in the air)? Back story: I pop my back, neck, and hips probably 4-5 times a day. I can pop my elbows, 2knuckles on each finger, thumbs, my ankles and toes. I was an all star cheerleader and gymnast since I was 5 and I am now 19. I quit about two years ago. I have scoliosis as well but if you would like to have an idea or what an all star cheerleader flyer did you can google “all star cheer needle” or “all star cheer flyer positions” or “all star cheer stunts level 5” and you’ll see the insane stuff we did with our bodies for years. I never broke a bone but I have hurt myself to the point of getting MRI’s and 3 concussions before the age of 17. I have been thinking about flying to Orlando to see you because my General Practitioner doesn’t believe me and I am in pain all the time but it’s hard to get any older doctor to take a “teenage girl” seriously. Sorry for rant but wondering if you have ever seen an ex all star cheerleader flyer before because it was always a joke by the age of 20 our bodies are aged like a grandma but now about to be 20 it is more true by the day. Thank you for reading.

I'd love to know the answer to this question.

The chiropractor you're seeing is correct, you can't cure scoliosis. At least not through adjustments. Regularly seeing someone may help tho and this question really needs to be something you speak to your doctors about. If you think that the massage may help relieve some if your pain, ask your physician. I know I asked mine and they said multiple thing would be beneficial.

I've had painful lumps on my lower back for the longest time too. The doctors say, the lumps are normal. So I tolerate it.

I need a chiropractor like you. I’ve been going regularly for fifty-five years, but never had anything like this.

I have the same symptoms that the girl in the lower back, I'm 18, and I've gone under surgery for "hérnia de disco". Don't know how to write this in English, I'm from Brazil. Now I feel 0 pain, but I've gone through 3 years of physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and pilates trying to solve the problem. Some days my back would lock, sometimes I couldn't move my body in any way without feeling excruciating pain. Discovered it with and MRI.

Always get the full medical history from the patient. That alone would be a reason I would go there.
