RAD! We are doing an entire rebuild on our single wide in the desert. It is extremely challenging, nothing is square, lots of moldy flooring and window sills! Leah, I have to thank you for your videos. We ended up having to do our kitchen renovations ourselves (our contractor died the week we were supposed to get in touch to set up when he could start). Your videos helped me SO much. I cannot tell you how often I heard your encouraging "You? You can do this!" message in my head as I undertook drywall repair, removing cupboards, installing cupboards, and laying down new flooring. I had figured I'd do the painting all along as I knew I could do that. But everything else I had to learn on the job. Thank you, thank you, thank you!❤❤❤❤

I have to say, that brown wall and battening in the living room is definitely not to my taste, but I love the kitchen. I didn't dislike the original family room, but I liked your changes also. The framed pictures are especially nice.

Great job renovating that house! Those chairs look great, I got a La-Z-boy couch a few years ago, so I'm not in the market and It does a few of those things with a USB charger and recliner, but no seat warmer/cooler, LEDs, or cup holder. However, I really like the concept of an accessory table solution, and I wish I had that. Maybe I can find something or make something. And, best wishes and luck on your home DIY course, I'm sure it will be excellent. Cheers!

I really like the look of this reno! This is a look that fits me; simple, down home, functional, practical. I think a lot of people are that way too. Well Done ma'am! But where is the link to your courses? Its nowhere here. Please post.😊 The key feature I love about the theater seats is the cooling feature! 😊😊😊 One thing that really bothers me is Professional DIY/Contractor shows, this one included, is the blatant destruction of materials. Especially now with Helene recovery going on & Milton about to finish off the remainder of Tampa. A lot of these materials could be sent to the area "Re-Stor" so that other people could re-purpose materials, like that window you hauled out for example, instead of filling up more landfill space with matwrials that should have been recycled rather than turning into a glass shatter toy. Besides that, great job. Lots to learn from this! 😊

I think I would have added a peninsula island on that wall by the kitchen where the thermostat is located. Then, you could add bar stools for seating and it would enlarge the size of the kitchen and provide more storage as well. .

It's truly a dramatic change. However, as a DIY'er, am curious as to the total cost from before and after; including demolition and trash disposal. Those theater chairs are fantastic, but $3k for a set of 3 would take away from resources for the rest of the home.
