Please be careful using Temu as it's been accused of stealing customer data. Temu's sister app, Pinduoduo, has faced allegations related to privacy and data security due to reported malware as well. That being said, you really improved your sewing space. Love the hexie pin board idea and covering the boxes with fabric!

You are adorable! Great job on the organization. I’m always refining my sewing area but then I forget where I re-organize stuff to. I can’t deal with clutter so it needs to stay somewhat tidy for me to even be able to sew. Love your hair.

Yes! It’s the clutter that makes me go bonkers. Thankfully adding the labels to the plastic drawers help hide what’s inside but I can still easily find things.

Great ideas! I love the fabric you picked to front your boxes... and love that you made things look really lovely without a huge outlay. I use some big (laundry type) baskets on the floor and found some cheap plastic plant caddies at Aldis - attached them to the bottom of the baskets - and now they are easy to roll around when they aren't where I want them to be. Happy Sewing (and organizing!)

Nicely done!!! I've been mapping out a plan for a new sewing room (after my move) and so happy to know about a lot of items you ordered, especially the clear drawer units. Right now, I have a lot of things like zippers, ribbon, trim, etc. in stacked plastic totes that I have to unstack to get at what I need. Uh, no. And don't get me started on my sewing/quilting books and binders! So I completely understand the "anxiety" (perfect word!) when it comes to a disorganized sewing room. Congrats on your new-ish space! Oh my gosh, you’re getting a brand new space?!?! That’s so fun! And yes, the clear bins are definitely great. They’re smaller than my other ones but they’re way less expensive and I can fit more of them 😁 in my space. I was pleasantly surprised.

@@MariSews Like you, my current sewing room was also my office. This just didn't work well. Used my L-shaped desk as a cutting surface, but just doesn't work well for that. Can't wait to get a new sewing/craft room set up!!! Will take some time to get organized and everything put away, but it will eventually be worth the wait.

Mari, if I were not so ashamed I'd show you my sewing room, you'd feel great. I just have too much "stuff" way too much fabric. I am depressed! I've given much to my 2 nieces (they live in Idaho), and I live in Calif, 2 embroidery machines and all the threads and accompaningy sewing machine stuff. The faster I clean the behinder I get.
