Hip Hop was born on a foundation of turntablism, but emcees have since moved away from DJs. I love tracks like this, which give props to the real origins of the culture. Modern Hip Hop very rarely acknowledges its roots, and most of its audience doesn't even know what beat juggling is, let alone the 4 elements. I wish we could bring back sample based hip hop into the spotlight.
