Grunge with a metal attitude. Cobain saw these guys and it blew his mind...

I never liked nirvana but always and do love ugly kid joe. I remember how the,; brand new, stupid, gov. Censorship; parental advisory sticker was placed over the mid finger on they lp cover. Ukg killed it and knocked mjs near 15 yr reign, off mtvs num1 music video spot with cats.

Ugly Kid Joe feel like a band that was tailor made for the 90’s. I’m a little surprised that they weren’t bigger in their time. A nice mix of Funk, Hard Rock and Alternative Metal. They come off like if Alice in Chains were happy.
@andydhillon1977
@andydhillon1977 8 ай бұрын
I always wondered that, too. The only thing I can think of is they came off as a non-serious band. Songs and videos for 'Neighbor' and 'Everything About You' came off as not serious to the masses. It's such a shame, too. This album could've had many mainstream hits, too.

+RebelHardy Shut up! No it's not! It's what you expect from an aging, lost in time, irrelevant band that forgot what music they want to play or what they want to be. This band started to suck by their third album. But hey, I love Ugly As... and America's Least ... two very good records... They shot their load,. That new one is just pure trash. Even crane sounds like shit on it. But again, that's what you expect when bands get older and fall off the earth...

Is that so? I suppose current artists are selling more than what albums like Superunknown (sold 5,000,000 in the U.S) and Appetite For Destruction (sold 18,000,000 in U.S) sold. No I didn't think so. Current number 1 albums like Ed Sheeran's (sorry for the language) 'Divide' sold 919,000 and that's been like the most popular thing lately. Non-substance artists like these, are just phases of time.

Don't worry doc tested it and it works just fine man! Got some fucking bugs in it. You might end up in the 1800's or might have your time travelling car stolen by young BIFF (or old biff), but it's cool. You'll get back to 1985 just fine! Ugly Kid Joe - So Damn Cool Lyrics I want to know, why the people are everywhere, and I want to know, where to go if I get scared, and I want to be, in a place where no one cares, and I, I, I want to know you! 'Cause you're so damn cool! Yeah, you're so damn cool! I want to feel like I'm floatin' in the air, and I want to know if the sun'ss gonna bleach my hair, and I want to know why life's so unfair and I want to know you! Because you're so damn cool! Yeah, you're so damn cool! Who knows what I'm feelin' inside of me! And who knows if I'm feelin' all right! Who knows what I'm feelin' inside of me Who knows what is runnin' around in my brain Now that I'm done and I seen it And don't think that I'm tryin' to complain Don't think I'm lyin' 'cause I mean it N' all you people out there don't look at me to lay All of your blame 'cause you need me And you want me to go down In flames with the rest But I'm so sick of denyin' What is runnin' around in my brain
