Ugly Kid Joe feel like a band that was tailor made for the 90’s. I’m a little surprised that they weren’t bigger in their time. A nice mix of Funk, Hard Rock and Alternative Metal. They come off like if Alice in Chains were happy.
@andydhillon19778 ай бұрын
I always wondered that, too. The only thing I can think of is they came off as a non-serious band. Songs and videos for 'Neighbor' and 'Everything About You' came off as not serious to the masses. It's such a shame, too. This album could've had many mainstream hits, too.

Is that so? I suppose current artists are selling more than what albums like Superunknown (sold 5,000,000 in the U.S) and Appetite For Destruction (sold 18,000,000 in U.S) sold. No I didn't think so. Current number 1 albums like Ed Sheeran's (sorry for the language) 'Divide' sold 919,000 and that's been like the most popular thing lately. Non-substance artists like these, are just phases of time.

Ugly Kid Joe - So Damn Cool Lyrics I want to know, why the people are everywhere, and I want to know, where to go if I get scared, and I want to be, in a place where no one cares, and I, I, I want to know you! 'Cause you're so damn cool! Yeah, you're so damn cool! I want to feel like I'm floatin' in the air, and I want to know if the sun'ss gonna bleach my hair, and I want to know why life's so unfair and I want to know you! Because you're so damn cool! Yeah, you're so damn cool! Who knows what I'm feelin' inside of me! And who knows if I'm feelin' all right! Who knows what I'm feelin' inside of me Who knows what is runnin' around in my brain Now that I'm done and I seen it And don't think that I'm tryin' to complain Don't think I'm lyin' 'cause I mean it N' all you people out there don't look at me to lay All of your blame 'cause you need me And you want me to go down In flames with the rest But I'm so sick of denyin' What is runnin' around in my brain
