Ugu Seeds: The NEW Preservation Method

Very informative thanks. Question please, I have 6 pods, I have only broken 1 to germinate and plant the seeds. If I don't break the pods of the remaining 5, will the seeds be preserved until I break the pods?

Good evening, Am from Nigeria living in Germany. Does your preservation method of using 10 bags to tie the ugu seeds up worked? Frost free time here in Germany is from 15th may, I just got some ugu seeds from Nigeria now in January. What is the best way to preserve the ugu seeds till may?....Thanks.

@Yaje Ngala Have you thought of getting a grow tent? Since you have seeds that are precious you can get to start them inside the house. That is if you have the space.

In Africa,we rap Ugo seed in cocoyam leaves, changing leaves when it start drying up

I brought my ugu plants in after our first cold snap. They appeared dead but the root ball was still hard. I cut it down to about 4 inches and put them in old pots. They have started growing back in my laundry room. I only had 6 (2 of them didn't grow back)
