for the record i think he’s going to open the actual demo ranch…it was on an episode several years ago…but a large piece of land and have shooting ranges…trails for dirt bikes and hiking…houses and campsites for rent…pistol range…training facility…a one stop shop for all things family and shooting related….

IMO, the deck on the back should stay and be rebuilt. It is perfect for a generator, bbq and extra storage. Maybe even made bigger (2nd level) for extra storage for something like luggage or a tent. But the transmission needs to be upgraded for extra towing and a little more speed. The engine can handle it all and with a better trans, may even get better GPM. Think of what Cody @donutoperator has, but only more cooler.

Like the bus, but make a under the body slide in box for that generator or build a smaller extension on the back for the propane tank and generator. You will regret mounting those on top especially if you are going to sleep with the air-conditioning on. Also watch the carbondioxzide levels on that bottom bunk, there doesn't seem to be a lot of ventilation. Be safe have a great week

Another bad decision: "We'll just put the giant generator on the roof, along with the propane tank." Bad idea for a number of reasons. The noise would transfer right down to the bus interior. You thought you got poor gas mileage before, loading up the roof won't help. Maybe a small Honda generator would work up there. Much lighter and quiet. You don't need a lot of power. But putting anything on the roof is dangerous. The roof would need to be highly reinforced. Don't want to get in a fender bender and have a 200 pound generator go flying off. Why did you need a propane tank? Does the generator run on propane?

Matt. As you are installing a new hitch, get a rear rack and a box hitch double mount. Use the low box for the trailer, upper for the hauler, and install the genie on the rack, not the roof. Easy and safer to fill that way, and room for the propane tank.

Honestly if you wanted to maximize space with the bunkbed idea, coulda looked into a futon kinda deal so you could fold it up for a couch to chill on.

I was thinking that for all the beds. Do a fold up lengthwise sofa bed on the side and one in the back with the top bunk able to fold up and be out of the way when not needed, like a Murphey bed. Also, each would have more head room (as well a having enough room to actually stand up in the thing) if they raised the whole roof by a foot, but I know that a whole lot of extra work and expense.
