Well I hiked this trail back in July and it was everything I hoped for! Of course sleeping in that awesome zpacks duplex.

I backpacked into Dead Horse Lake with the Scouts when I was a teenager. Your bout with elevation sickness reminded me, the first thing I did when we reached the lake (carrying a way too heavy pack) was throw up! All these years I thought it was from eating plums, and beef jerky on my way up. It just donned on me that it might have been a little elevation sickness. I mentioned how much you enjoyed this hike to my Son who lives in Utah. He"s putting the Uinta Highline trail on his to do list. Great video series. Thanks for posting.

It’s a wonderful trail through a beautiful mountain range. We will be back!

Thanks for documenting your trip. It's hard to find a good detailed trip record of the Highline trail.

That's the one we are trying. The only one we could find actually with Nolan and Amanda Caldwell. Hope all goes according to plan with Mountian Trails Transport. Odd their website is gone now.

I saw you guys were doing this on your FB page and I was hoping to run into you guys but I guess you started just as I was finishing. That hail and thunderstorms...that was the day I finished at Hacking Lake TH. Would have been cool to see you guys on the trail. It was a gorgeous trail but the constant threat of thunderstorms got old real fast.

The thunderstorms were pretty crazy! Would have been great to see you out there on the trail. Honestly we didn’t see many people. We were all shocked with how few people there were out there.

I saw a lot more than I was expecting. I have a feeling it's because I went west to east and everyone else was going east to west so I ran into everyone.

Hoping to do this in August. The logistics are a bit problematic to work out. Wondering if you happen to recall the name of that shuttle company or the number by any chance? Awesome series of vids btw. Best one on the Highline by far and i've watched them all.

Mountain Trails Transport seems to be the only shuttle company left. Their website is gone so the only way to contact them is by their phone number on google.

Did you guys find water near the 20 mile marker?

this trail is about 2 hours from where I am right now. I'm looking at this because I'm about 1 more pissed off boss conversation away from flipping my fucking desk and hiking this trail and recording it for my channel. There are a couple pieces of gear I'd like to sort out first. shelter, and sleeping pad. though i'd love to do it with just a hammock haha

You all seem to be wearing a lot of clothes. What is the temperature swing like?

We noticed mid 30’s at night high 70’s during the day time on the warmer days.
