Can I please ask, what is the cut off amount of guideline amount which a solo applicant with no depends would need to show they have saved on their bank statements, to meet the requirement of ‘being able to financially support themselves’ for a UK ancestry visa in 2024? (or as of the last update you are aware of). Thank you for any help or examples you may be able to share!

No minimum savings are needed for an ancestry visa. Just prove you can support yourself without public funds.

Do you need to pay the NHS surcharge for the five years of the visa, or can you apply for a two-year ancestry visa? i.e if I only intended being in UK for 2 years can I save money by doing it this way
