I hope people still remeber this guy when the covid-19/wuhan flu blows over. He has done more for me, with family, than I can ever repay him for, being in the group of people that will likely die from this infection. Forever grateful Dr.Campbell! I probably had it in late march, and the d vitamin lectures from dr. c and peak prosperity might have been the reason I am still alive to tell this tale. Will tell Jesus about you when I get to heaven. Hope to see you there!!! God bless you good Sir.

Some quotes regarding Wolfgang Wodarg and covid19: "A pulmonologist named Wolfgang Wodarg draws attention to himself in the media with his opinion and unproven theses about the corona virus. He argues that the virus is being scared. But he relativizes scientific knowledge and mixes facts with conjectures." "Wodarg's claims largely contradicted the verifiable facts; some of his statements were neither verifiable nor falsifiable; and because the facts Wodarg presented had nothing to do with each other, his statements had proved to be misleading." “Wodarg’s statements are grossly negligent. He ignores known facts and undermines the acceptance of necessary protective measures." "Many aspects that Wolfgang Wodarg addresses in his videos cannot be checked. On some topics he only expresses his opinion, on others he formulates unproven theses, sometimes he mixes facts and assumptions and thus sows doubt." world-today-news.com/facts-check-wolfgang-wodarg-spreads-theses-that-ignore-important-facts-politics/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Wodarg

One And Only tests per capita is only relevant if you’re talking about countries with mass community spread. Vietnam leads, by far, in tests per positive case. We haven’t had a local case in four weeks now and most places are open, so if there were just one case it would’ve spread by now. Please do a little research if you’re going to claim such nonsense.

Hi Dr Campbell - I had one thought about the comparisons between findings in the UK and New York regarding the Asian fatality rate (around the 21 minute mark) and a possible clash between UK and US definitions. In the UK we tend to refer to asian ethnicity as being from more middle-east areas, whereas in the US they tend to refer to far eastern origins (China, Japan, Korea etc.) as Asian. Given that here in the UK we have a much larger % of people from middle-eastern descent when compared to the US, could it be that people of middle-eastern origin have been categorised as 'other' in the US data? This would more closely reflect the findings in the UK with higher mortality rate in our Asian (middle-eastern) population but not so in what we categorise as 'Chinese' ethnicity? This may also correlate more with the vitamin D deficiency/darker skin tone theory. Just an observation I thought might be worth sharing. Many thanks for all your work!

I wish you could have seen my face on May 11th and May 13th, i promise I resembled a darker Dr. John Campbell, just a slightly darker version. What an honor! In tears I say, Dr. Campbell, You ARE A GREAT MAN AND I'M TRULY THANKFUL FOR EVERY SECOND You've SPENT WITH Us! Our Community realities can become quite overwhelming for some people every now and then, given the nature of some occupations and callings we agree with. My mother had to be rushed to the emergency room for surgery. She cares for my wonderful 95 year old grandmother, who's living in a senior care facility in Milwaukee, a hot bed early on. No masks wearing, no distance, no real care and so on and so on during this time from staff. Mom was in a very compromised environment for a while. Condition: Intestinal obstruction, surgery went well and thankfully no SARS, CoC-2 / COVID-19! Both were taking Vitamin D3, early on. Mother, Hypertension, Diabetes, 4 time Cancer survivor, 1 rare case (small cell colon cancer) age 75. Very Thankful for You! You are one of the greatest and wisest men I know. What is proven to be TRUE is the welfare of creation, that means more than anything else. You will never have to be concerned about anything ever. Your needs will always be a priority. You've grabbed the attention of the world. The lessons you've taught will be echoed in villages that are too far to be heard. People around the world will live because of your purposed reason of things true. Something like 3 Kingdoms. What we're deficient of is what the Body needs most...including peace. Thank you for carrying the tremendous weight of the world on your shoulders and in your heart. I just hope I'm around to hear the sound of someone GREAT being honored for having a genuine passionate concern for the world! I will use every ounce of the sweat and heart equity you and Liz put into preparing Us (Globally) to live. I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE, WHEREVER IT LEADS...! I'm hoping the wild, wild west doesn't become the standard for the world!! This week, Local / Global Community awareness. Bill Boards / Facebook (all social media platforms, hospitals and clinics, pharmacies, website development, Digital Ads, and whatever other entity that's willing to display your notices / reminders / instructions for life on Social media, Website, your info slides will be in multiple languages. Having to listen as I go these days. Never want to miss a day. Always eager to hear from you and look forward to Every conversation unless my imagination is getting the best of me. Have a great evening both You and Liz. Concerned Global Citizen,

So, I vote that we just send him money. If he gives it all away - then we should just buy stuff for him. You know...like a house, car, etc. But he'd likely just want a better internet connection - and the ability to reach more people. I'd like to support him. He saves lives & helped me prepare my family early. How could I ever express my daily appreciation. Thank you Doc!💕 We need to honor him and the methodologies he uses in his earnest search for truth. His honesty and dedication should be what we expect from others. Yet sadly, public figures like him are precious and rare. His standards are high. Ours should be, too. Don't accept less.

Hmm indeed, but depending on your geographic 'context' (and it matters) then the health services may well be overwhelmed, and that is indeed the 'balancing act' that authorities are dealing with. It is both a moral and economic question - what is 'society', and what is 'a life worth'? Please don't reply as there is no ideal answer, and I certainly am not suggesting one. (Yes there are a whole bunch of issues from paying bills, mental health, health issues from other causes, the state of a country to pay its debts, companies going bust, but I repeat there is 'no ideal answer'). But for sure each geographic area needs to understand if it can cope with events or not. Sweden is just 10 miles from Denmark and took different decisions, their Governments are currently discussing if 'opening the border' is advisable. 10 miles! and they are still not sure if it is a good idea or not!

In Spain we have just got the first results of a still running study of seroprevalence among all Spaniards and the average figure is 5% with big differences among regions. For example 11% in Madrid and only 2% in the Canary islands. It's been a very strict and wide study with over 60.000 statistically selected people which represent accurately all the population. The second wave of the study starts next Monday May 18. So the heard inmunity is still very far to be reached and in general it can be said that even though the real cases are more or less 10 times the detected cases, they are fewer than some people thought it would be. The same result in the US, lower numbers of people with antibodies than was hoped with between 2% and 12% out side of New York State. NYC's random sampling showed 20% of the population had RNA or antibodies. When you consider the death rate from less than a quarter of the city's population of 9 million how to work safely is a pressing question.

I suspect there was already community spread in London by early January. I returned to the USA on January 15, after spending 2 weeks in Canary Wharf, which is a banking and international business center in east London, with many world travelers. Over the next 14 days, I had a persistent cough and a brief fever and teeth chattering chills that felt different from the usual run of winter colds. I’ve been waiting for a reliable antibody test, but now Roche Diagnostics has one available in the US that seems to have good validation data with high specificity and sensitivity. I hope to take the test soon that will either confirm my suspicion, or show that I have just been projecting.

24:30 You can't draw conclusions from this data alone... The percentage of people who died of covid-19 who had hypertension needs to be compared to the percentage of people who have hypertension in the demographic that, ignoring hypertension, tends to die of covid-19. So about 55% of people who died also have hypertension. But if 55% of people in that whole demographic, even if they survived, has hypertension, then it doesn't mean anything. It would be like saying that 70% of people who died of covid-19 had hair loss. It doesn't mean that Rogaine will help you survive covid.

Dr. John, I would be interested in your thoughts about the huge differences in fatalities between New York state and Florida. Florida has a huge retirement population, many from coming there after retirement from NY and other northern states, yet fewer deaths. Florida closed schools much later and is reopening much sooner, but by all accounts was stricter about locking down old people. Their population is 21.3 million vs NY population 19.8 million. There are other things to consider. There is no tube/subway /metro system in Florida, the water table is too high for underground transportation. In NYC the tube/subway system was never shut down. Both are very diverse genetically. Thanks, stay safe.

@Lost Hero: Actually Florida's death rate is lower, they blocked off whole retirement communities, with cops. They seem to have focused their efforts on old people, more than any other state. They have less public transportation too, weather may be a factor. They have a large aging population but a high Hispanic population that is younger than the US average. The difference in death rate has little to do with the Governor's party in either state and more to do with the health advice that policymakers give the governors. We can't assume both governors got the same advice from different state health officials, when there are even disagreements between US federal agencies. Different countries handle things differently. Sweden didn't lockdown but isolated old people, next door Norway locked down like NY . These two nations are the most alike in weather, genetics. Medical people are watching these nations closely to see who was right, we don't know yet. To get a death certificate and be accurate for COVID 19 you need a positive test, and have evidence of viral pneumonia, or stroke, blood clots.

Hi John, please can you do a study on Vitamin K2. Is it needed to prevent calcium buildup in blood vessels when taking Vitamin D supplements? If so what is an effective dose according to studies? 🔵🙏🏻

K2 mK 7 for carboxylation and phosphorolyzing Matrix Gla Proteins 200-400mcg per day, but that's only if decreasing calcification is good. Thrombo embolism possibilities need to be studied. Pubmed has details of the process, but no links allowed

If you eat a healthy diet with with plenty of soy, greens like kale, spinach, broccoli, brussels sprouts, green beans, cabbage you won't be short on K2.. Also Vitamin K2 is also produced by gut bacteria in your large intestine. There's also K2 in egg yolks, cheese, chicken, beef, pork etc but much lower levels than the veg.

Just to let you know, straight from Trinidad...we haven’t done nearly enough testing, and it wouldn’t do any good anyway because we got the test kits from China, so they are likely faulty. Our lockdown is just beginning to ease up. Masks are required to shop at most groceries and pharmacies, but most people wear them like the gentleman in the video, shoved under the nose. I have not heard anything about the hospitals being too busy, but I have heard of people with colds being sent home without testing. I think we have gotten off so well due to 2 factors...our borders were closed early, and we are in our hot, sunshiny dry season. Plenty of vitamin D!

I don't think many actually adhere the lockdown. I'm in NYC too. People going to grocery stores cause they are "bored" since lockdown began. I still see people without mask or face covering on (from my window) and good luck getting people to do so when it gets warmer here. SMH.

@@s.k.1117 NYC has a stay at home not a real lockdown. People are free to go out anytime because it's all under exercise or recreational: you can go to Central Park or Hudson River Parks, etc. It's sunny today and there's plenty of people out and about. This is not a Wuhan lockdown. Some areas in Manhattan have supermarkets and big pharmacies and restaurants doing takeout so that's just about every block in some areas of Manhattan. You wouldn't know there was any kind of lockdown just a lot less tourists and closed bars that were crowded up until the stay at home order..where the bars had to closed. Plenty of cars all the time too, except in the real early hours. Almost better this way...for awhile.

Regarding percentage of deaths in NY, I think those numbers will change depending on how the symptoms are treated as we are learning more about the disease every day and discovering better treatments for those manifestations. For example, we have found that ventilation is a last resort and likely a prelude to death, while anticoagulants given prior to severe oxygen deprivation may be a better treatment. And the antibody treatments from plasma are becoming more available as more people recover.

Here's my take on New Zealand (from a Kiwi's perspective). Our government decided that the economy can recover eventually but you can't bring the dead back to life. Most of us now are optimistic about the future and that is a big attitudinal shift from a few weeks ago. Yes we will possibly form an Australia/NZ/Pacific Islands safe zone for travel. This should aid our tourism, hopefully in time for our July/October ski season. I also think there will be increased demand for NZ produce as having originated in a Covid-19 free environment. I've been out to a large hardware store this morning and all I see is everything back to business-as-usual. Plenty of traffic signifies a return to normal life is underway. Deaths in large parts of the world now seems surreal, hard to believe almost. We can only hope that everyone in affected countries wear masks in confined spaces and practice social distancing everywhere else to beat this affliction.

Came here to say a version of this. In USA I think it's like in Australia where "Asian" generally means "East and Southeast Asian" whereas in the UK "Asian" means "South Asian". The cultures are much more different between the regions that within each region though the genetics also differ between the regions. South/Southeast Asians tend to respect the authority of their governmets and also were recently affected by avian flu and swine flu and took Covid seriously without much delay. Another factor could be them hearing stories directly through relatives in China.
