4:18 whether the car jumped the red light is debatable, it depends on where the stop line is relation to the roundabout. If the car had crossed the stop line when the lights changed to Amber then they were entitled to continue. Secondly, there’s no give way markings on the road nor a give way sign, the cammers car was behind a stop line and should have waited until the other car had moved on. This to me is a problem with light controlled roundabouts is that they don’t always have give way markings on the entrances to the roundabout, which appears to change the normal give way to traffic already on the roundabout to if on the roundabout and stopped then give way to those joining the roundabout. There’s a roundabout near me with exactly this situation but I don’t know what the position is at the confluence of traffic joining the roundabout and those who have been stopped on the roundabout by lights at busy times.

Once on the roundabout the right hand lane opens up and you can either stay in the lane for the outside lane of the dual carriageway going to the M6 or steer right for the Bermuda Park industrial estate (or keep going round for the A444 back into town, etc). If the Honda had stayed in his lane he would have been in the correct and inside lane for the dual carriageway and M6 so had no need to try and change lanes to get in the outside lane for the dual carriageway and the M6. Having moved lanes in error and nearly caused an accident they then move into the lane they should have been in all along, after nearly causing a 2nd accident. The Honda was 100% in the wrong. This roundabout isn't particularly difficult from the lane the Honda was in.
