If you want to see info about the equipment NW uses, try video titled "GEAR GODS RIGGED - Nightwish". The info about drums starts around 10 minute mark but the whole video is definitely worth watching. And you'll find that Kai uses signature Balbex sticks.

I just found your channel and subscribed and liked it, and liked (really, really, liked) your reaction. I have no musical talent at all but have always enjoyed good music and love learning what makes good music sound good. The technical details and all the buzz words that musicians use and that non-musicians don't know, I love learning about those. You probably learned them 20 years ok and know exactly what they mean, but I would like to know, too. I would like to be able to pick a short passage or special sound, and actually know what it is and why it is special. I barely know what a double-base is, and am not really sure what a fill is, so basically any kind of information that you present, I am ready to absorb. Some reactors just say "it was awesome," but I already knew that. So, keep giving comments about technique, terms, etc, that I will be very happy to add to my vocabulary. Thank you for giving a great and informative reaction!!!

Jukka was precise, like a sniper, hitting hard with that perfect strike. He pulled his hits all the way back from behind his back. Kai is a machine though, perfect rhythm, very worthy of the seat he sits on as well.

to watch, yes, I love watching Jukka, his playing style & 'animation' are brilliant.. technically Kai is the so-called 'better' drummer, his precision is beyond normal.. not as easy on the eye as Jukka's playing, but Kai puts more in, fills etc.... I'm not looking for an argument, i think that it is just the general consensus ... Enjoy whoever is playing. they are both amazing drummers 🤘🤘🤘
