Also “benefits” is not a valid either, as welfare systems have existed since the Roman republic. As a business owner I have ceased all new staff hires, we have been hit hard by this governments lack of action for small businesses. Business rates are a joke, now we have to pay more per employee with this increase in employers NI. We have to put up our prices but our customers can go elsewhere which would mean we're no longer viable. We're in a very precarious position and this government doesn't seem to care. No jobs, no taxes.....
