Dan, your vlogs are great!! I know you feel they are inferior, but a lot of us rather watch reality driving. Your down to earth attitude about things is absolutely delightful for me, as you don't sugarcoat anything. Yes, I will agree with you, Russia is underwhelming. Good thing you are driving it in the dark. I think you were disappointed with Russia, as it took you freaking forever to get through the border. 21 hrs is absolutely stupid if you ask me. 5 hrs getting out is just as bad. Hoping the rest of your trip is sunnier, happier, and much better than what you just went through. Having a hard time waiting for your next vlog. lol Hugs from a Canadian fan. The reason you see USA trucks in Russia is, the close proximity as Russia to USA is roughly 5-6 miles
@chrishoggett13753 жыл бұрын
Funny how people expect Russia to be so different, it’s not Africa. Having said that, Russia has changed a lot in the last 10 - 15years. Especially the major cities, traffic has become much more “civilised”. Furthest I’ve driven in Russia is Sheregesh, a ski resort about 500km south-east of Novosibirsk. There is a world of difference though between Russian cities and the rural areas. I’ve still enjoyed the video though, I’ve watched from the start of the tour, I noticed you looking forward and hyping up Russia, I kinda predicted you would find it a disappointment, so I wasn’t disappointed as my expectations weren’t as high as yours :) Cheers from my boring locomotive cab on a freight train in Belgium
