Not sure of the dimensions of it. But yes that’s it, the bigger your truck/trailer, and the more horse power it has, the bigger your d*ck is apparently 🤷🏾♂️🤭🤭 that’s why I’ve got the little urban trailer 😅

Great to see you back Daniel. London was always the same: when youve got the right of way you have to take it. Far worse than Paris as you mentioned or even the nutcase cyclists around Centraal in Amsterdam. Looking forward to more of your great content

@d1986scott26 күн бұрын
I moved out the Scania when I left last year. I was given the Volvo when I came back. I can’t complain, I’m happy to have a decent lorry to drive and have my job back. Hopefully I’ll be getting a Scania soon enough anyway

A 45 minute video that proved to me I was right 30+ years ago. I just drove Rigids from age 21 to 70, but i made it known, in my last 15 - 20 years that I didn't WANT to go inside the M25 and I WOULDN'T do nights. Age 83 now and this is the nearest I want to get to Lorries. (NOT Trucks, I drove Lorries!!) Good Luck in your Career, Daniel. I'm sorry to Piss on your Chips, but oldies like me had the best years in the game. It's played out now, I'm afraid. We ate proper grub like a Full English in Transport Cafes, chatting to other drivers, not pulling into some poxy Petrol Station for a Macdonalds and Starbucks Coffee and back to the cab. Nights Out at "Truck" (God, I hate that word) Stops, with a Shower and again Proper Grub, not some Lay-By full of our Continental Friends Pi - - ing and Shi - - - ing all around the place. That's enough from me,. Believe it or not, I thoroughly enjoyed my 50 years on the road, but home is a great place to be, especially at midnight.
@d1986scott26 күн бұрын
Interesting! I have really enjoyed my time on the road. I’ve been to lots of interesting places. Places I’d never have been otherwise. I understand where you’re coming from. It’s not always fun. Unfortunately the attitude of a lot of drivers nowadays is why we probably don’t have the camaraderie of days gone by. A greater number of I’m alright jack attitudes in more recent years too. I wouldn’t have changed my career though. I imagine trucks, sorry, lorries 😅 nowadays are much better to drive (subject to opinion)! I still enjoy what I do that’s the main thing

@d1986scott26 күн бұрын
If you’re talking about the DVS I can assure you it is. As are all of our lorries. Big penalties for not being compliant. As much as I wish we could avoid the place
@davidwatson646825 күн бұрын
Couldn't hear the sound on the video and couldn't see a screen
@d1986scott25 күн бұрын
@@davidwatson6468 that’s because the windows are up the majority of the time. So you won’t hear it. It’s not very loud from inside the cab. And the camera plays through the screen on the dash, which I had admittedly switched off here. I have enough places to look and mirrors to check as it is on a Friday night in London, adding more only becomes a distraction at this point along with the glare of the screen in my face. Yet another government exercise to relieve drivers and companies of their money rather than focusing on a reasonable solution. You can put as many audible warning sirens and bleepers on trucks as you like, along with big ugly ‘warning blind spot!’ stickers. Will it stop cyclists from riding up the inside of the truck? Absolutely not
