The little hat on the Z turns it into a Zh sound, like the “s” in the word pleasure. So it is pronounced Zhuk, which means ‘beetle’ in Polish and Russian.

The U kind of slides between a U and and a long O, it's really hard for a lot of non-slavic speakers to pronounce absolutely perfectly.

What a cool little truck! It's funky but also really useful as well. Perhaps a neighbour will ask you "Can you fetch me 12 straw bales for my horse?" or "I need to collect a new kitchen in flat pack boxes". Seppo and his little Zuk to the rescue! I'm a Trabant owner, so that Zuk is something I would definitely drive around, I love weird and quirky vehicles.

A mate had one in England. Ex fire service with rows of bench seats. I had to move it about the yard and warehouse a few times. Horrendous thing. I loved it. He had it as a feature in his tap room last I saw it.

I’m enjoying the Zuk adventure. It’s just the kind of thing that really appeals to me. I would easily roll around in something like that, or a Bukhanka, if I didn’t have my Land-Rover. 👍

If the page is in Polish or any other language, just right click anywhere on the page and select "Translate to English". You can get a brand new engine with all accessories for 10,000 Euros if you are desperate. As noted, oil filters are easy. Filtron op550 or Mann W930 mentioned but check first.

I'm sure you are familiar with the products, but I would still like to do a small shout-out for pre-wash/snow foam products in a foam sprayer. They work wonders for me especially in the summer with bugs and insects all over the front end, so I can only imagine how much easier it would be to clean a project like this after it's been soaking for a bit. Greetings from Jylland, love your videos. :-) PS. By the sound and look of the stream it makes it also sounds a bit like you're using the turbo nozzle on the pressure washer. Careful with that, I've accidentally chipped a paintwork with that one and it's generally not recommended for cars exteriors!

Oh so the low compression might as well be caused by completely washed out cylinder walls as it wasn't firing for who knows how long. Didn't think about it at first. I'll try to google for an oil filter ☺️

The filter is Filtron OP550 or MANN W930. The engine itself is an "S-21", you can find some good info about it in polish Wikipedia. Cheers!

I've been watching your channel for a while now. The last car I would expect to see in your garage is an old Żuk from my country i.e. Poland. I am really amazed and curious. When I was a kid (end of the cold war period) these cars were massively involved in local delivery of goods to shops. I have the service book for this car. If you need to know anything then please ask. They state that 5l of oil should be poured into the engine. The oil filter is: PZL FILTERS PP62: Thread size: 3/4"-16UNF, O-ring diameter [mm]: 72.0, Height 116 mm. It should be possible to select something e.g. Toyota CELICA (_A6_) 2.0 XT, Lancia PRISMA (831_) 1.9 Diesel. Greetings.
