Phil was a legend! These two were the greatest uk contenders ever in my opinion. This should have been the final rather than the semi final.

Basically the two best UK Gladiators contestants of all time . Deane was actually quicker over The Eliminator but Phil was super quick too and had that little start which was enough.

Should have been the final really they were easily the 2 best male contenders that year and poss in the shows history. Remember watching this on sat night on itv in 93 this and the 3rd series a year later with Eunice were the best 2 series! Started to go a bit rubbish when Shadow got done for drugs and left 🙈😂

The only guy I can recall being anywhere near as good as these two was the American in the International Series. Two Scoops Wesley Berry, some American football running back who made the UK Gladiators look like morons in Powerball by putting about 20 odd points on them
