US is popular for offering teaching assistantships and research assistantships which can support your study. This is the most commonly followed route. Every country has a job shortage list so if you are a professional in these areas you have more chances of securing a job and work visa. You can search 'shortage occupation list UK/Australia/USA' and find more about these

Its not about which profession can earn good money, it should be about which profession you love to do, that can earn money at the same time. If you really love something, then you can keep doing it day in and day out and still enjoy at the same time. Unlike Sri Lanka most developed countries have a minimum wage, so companies can't pay less than that for any profession. Also they have standard salaries which are comparable. These salaries are sufficient to live a good quality life in these countries. Certain fields like engineering, medicine, law can have higher salaries but it shouldn't always be about money. Because at the end of the day what matters is the quality of life!

Fully funded scholarships for masters are very competitive due to limited availability. Therefore, higher the results, the better the chances. If you have achieved something significant during your career like international awards, presidential awards, top journal or conference publications, public influential figure, etc. those can make your application stand out.

Getting a scholarship depends mostly on your bachelor results or any outstanding work experience. Applying for a job directly is not easy since the sponsoring company should convince that they can't find a british citizen with similar talent and experience in order to offer you a sponsored visa.
